I had Grand Master for Rikimaru and Ayame in all 3 enemy layouts. 25 year later still listening Tenchu soundtrack in my car. Unforgettable experience.

It's one of my favourite games of all time. It's just mesmerising.

I remember playing this level as Rikamaru first and the minister agrees and commits sepuku on himself. On the Ayame playthrough when it got to the bit at 8:45 I'd put the controller down and a relaxed, "Yeah, I know what happens here" turned into, "$hit! It's a fight!" trying to pick it up again as quick as.

Thank you for your old-school longplay, exactly what I was looking for. Sick and tired of (((speed)))runs, in my opinion this game should be taken slowly, and that's even more enjoyable at this exact level. As someone in the commentary section on "Execute the currupt minister" OST said, "I usually stay on this level even after killing everyone, just to enjoy the melancholy of music and snow".

This game was hard as hell even with normal mode. Thats what missing from wrath of heaven. In Tenchu 1 and 2 you wouldnt even make through the first missions of the game.

Man this game brings back soo many memories! My only real gripe is that this never got a PC release back in the days as I can imagine the modding community really opening up the potential of the level editor. As grand as it was considering the technical limitations of the PSOne I really wanted to see more in terms of content
