Welcome to our channel! We are a small family building our homestead from the ground up in Arkansas.
We (Jay & Lindsey) purchased 40 acres of raw timberland and have built our own 600 square foot home with our own hands. We are now going even bigger and finishing out a 1900 sqft metal building to make our home. Join us on our journey as we grow a garden, build infrastructure, add animals, cook delicious food and much much more! We also have three kiddos (Ollie, Audrey, & Kolton) who will be hanging around and helping too! I hope you'll join us on our quest for a life lived simply!

Looks like a great recipe! Definitely a keeper! I ferment & haven't tried canning...yet. But I'm wondering why you don't drop in some bay, grape or oak leaves for their tannins to help with the crispy?
