This channel is a record of our travels around the lanes, gated roads, and green lanes of Great Britain in our Toyota Land Cruiser 150 with our dogs Brea and Maggie. Both Jan and I have mobility issues so it is difficult for us to get out into the countryside. Green laning and a good 4x4 give us an opportunity to get out and about off the beaten track.
We are members of the Green Lane Association and promote responsible and careful green laning. Our goal is to take videos and leave no trace.

The TWS was very capable both on and off road. It was fantastic to be back out and about with the dogs. Needless to say, Maggie and Brea loved every minute of the walk. Can't wait to set out again this evening. #disabledrambling #tramper #tws #castledonington #hemington

@@chrishills7720 Are you just a flat lander or do you try the hills as well?
@@trampertravels I am heading for the hills but I have to get used to the TWS first. Get a feel for the slopes and the TWS stability. I have not mastered the torque. The power can take you by surprise. I have almost gone over backward on an uphill slope when I gave it too much throttle.
@@chrishills7720 Going up hill put it on tortoise and dial down your speed to half, this decreases acceleration and increases torque and prevents wheel slip. You also get weight plates for under the footplate.
