I found this real entertaining. With that said, the op made a boo boo. The professor wasn’t under the table, he’s clearly sitting on sand. Under the floor. So no,, there wouldn’t be any feet or blanket showing. That part they actually got right!!!

U missed it the bottle the Russian was holding was marked with the X because there bottle was empty and Russian astronaut asked Gillian for the bottle, he took one sip passed out

The outdoor and outdoor studio scenes can be confusing

I don’t think the séance goof you mentioned with Professor not being covered by the blanket or sheet, or whatever on the table is actually so because if you notice in the shot previous to that the table is sitting on a stage the professor isn’t under the table he’s under the stage therefore, you would not notice the tablecloth in front of him or legs by him he’s under all of that

Professor was in a hammock in the episode when Gilligan was the Howells son him and skipper go to his hut and ask him what to do, professor says the women know how to decive.

The biggest goof...anybody looking at high maintenance Ginger instead of Mary Ann.

It's a slapstick comedy. It's not supposed to make sense. That's one of many reasons I loved this show so much. 🙂

What I want to know was there a department store on the island 🏝 where they could purchase toiletries?? They would all die of malnutrition,no one could survive on an island like this, I sure would hate to have a toothache!!! Still, The show is good for a few laughs!!! It's very campy. Everyone seems to have a change of wardrobe, except the professor skipper and Gilligan.

After all these years I realize every scene outside hut or indoors is filmed in the studio not outside except lagoon footage

I love the coastline in season 1 not fan of the lagoon

At least in The new Adventures of Gilligan (animation) all the huts are all together not separated

The 🐛 bugs and butterflies on the wall of the Professor’s hut were collected during season One / black and white. Lord Beesley was in color. Came later. So that answers why he collected them himself but not why he didn’t show them to the lepidopterist when he arrived on the island later. Thanks

you lost me with the "im not bragging" when that is exactly what you were doing. oh, well, I know most of them anyway.

When the Skipper says oxygen from the boat he mean emergency equipment originally from the boat. Obviously it wasn't from any of their luggage. Sewing is completely different from both knitting and petite point. Gilligan doesn't respond well to advances from Ginger and Maryann because of his confidence levels and it makes him extremely nervous.

I think a big part of the show's humor was that it didn't make common sense.

In rescue from Gilligan's island the professor knows how to fly why not steal the helicopter?
