It is with great enthusiasm and much gratitude that we share the newly renovated and updated church space at St. John's in Savage. Through the Prepare the Way Campaign and the generosity of so many parishioners, this phase of the construction is now complete. Praise God!

That looks like a protestant church. It is too bad that another church falls victim to the modernist heresy.
Thanks be to God, our beautiful church just got more beautiful. As we lift our hearts and minds up to the Lord during Mass we’ll have a visual imprint of our prayers and sacrifices, joined to our sweet Lord, rising up to Heaven. Couldn’t be more pleased with the results!
It looks beautiful with all the thoughtful renovations! I look forward to worshipping there this weekend! Thanks and blessings to all who made this possible!

Oh my what a difference the reredos will make enhancing our worshiping God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit at Mass. Love seeing the beautiful statues of Blessed Virgin Mary & St. Joseph up front.

Well that's the problem with the Catholic church in the priests today you're afraid to say anything to the parishioners
As Jesse Romero points out..... The posture of praying on your knees with hands folded goes all the way back to Christians with their hands tied in the colluseum being fed to the lions.
Say something before Mass...do it as a mini class prior to Mass..Our Priest does this ...of course we get the "My Jesus Tells me" comments on occasion...But there is something beautiful about Sacred Tradition(s)...we are really looking like Protestants more and more...But as you said Father, It comes from Chairty to bring it to peoples attention...Well done and thank you...

Thank you so much for doing this series. I have no idea where you’re from but one of your Frindle videos just popped up on my recommended. I’m very sick right now so I’ve been out of work and I can’t return because I haven’t got better yet. I read this book as a kid and this series was just so soothing to listen to even when people had little mess ups I liked it even more because it was personal. The "orans" position is reserved for the priest. The congregation should never do it at Mass!
I know I'm going to sound mean but that's your Lord you're accepting. Take it on the tongue. That's your Lord not a skittle.... Reverence in this situation doesn't cost a thing. You think you'd want to considering that's why you come to Mass in the first place. Disclaimer: I know mistakes happen and I'm not mad but some could be avoided if we treated the Eucharist like it was actually the body of Christ, because it is.

It is part if the Liturgy of the Eucharist and using the proper form. There is a reason for EVERYTHING the Catholic Church does or teaches. It doesn't need your permission.

Martin Luther was an excommunicated priest, who married a nun and he also destroyed any part of the Bible that was unsupportive of his schism. Without laity, there is no church. The Cannon Law provides the backbone to any catechetical interpretation, supported in the Magisterium and Teachings of the Catholic Church. Prayer that is only in gesture, carry’s no weight with God. Try a little humility with piety and the love of God in your heart, which is expressed in sincerity. Peace to all men of goodwill.

So what you're saying is that obedience to the Church isn't necessary and you should do whatever you want at Mass. Everybody just do whatever. There is no right way or wrong way and nobody can tell you differently.

It’s on that basis that I declare that the pedantic adherence to every single aspect of a protocol will not and should not be judged as harshly. Having God in your Heart and in the performance of His Holy Will, is all that is required. Maybe you want to stick to full protocol and disregard the latter?

Read Cannon Law in its entirety and tell where it says it was ok to shut Churches, Ban the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist and deprive everyone of the Holy Sacraments, all because of a severe flu! No not the Black Death and not the Spanish Flu, No justification whatsoever. All of this was conducted at the behest of Secular Governments, which have maintained their stranglehold over the Church and everyone all at the invitation of the Pope in total contradiction to Cannon Law. It was and remains an act of absolute cowardice and abandonment, which I called out at the time and it still prevails. It is in that context, you should keep your shirt on and demonstrate some perspective. Read the Gospel of today too!
