I understand what you're saying but if the water you are drinking is out of the faucet in your house, you would need to know it's contaminated. If you test at the well head and it comes back OK, you're going to unknowingly drinking contaminated water for many years. I guess to rectify that problem you would really have to test from both locations. Unless I'm missing something.

How much water (index) is it supposed to hold in tank? My old system was a open style with a tank regulator (had what I refer to is a flotation to regulate air) not a fan of the one I’ve installed as it has only a 8-10 water index and pump almost immediately kicks in…(also run a check valve or no?) I’ve a submersible pump…: TIA 😊

Thanks for the video. I have a shared well with 5 pressure tanks...86 gal each. Each time we have a no water situation....various reasons, my first action is to give each tank a little push. If it moves it means it's empty. If it doesn't move it means it's probably full of water. Recently I had a tank that took more effort to move than the others but still took more pressure to move it. I interpreted this as partially failed or failing tank and had it replaced...since it was under warranty, Are there any other tips you can share for detecting damaged tank. I'm thinking that if the tanks are full...just after pump turns off...that pressing the valve on the air valve might cause water to flow out. Your thoughts.

We already know what the video is about because we looked it up for a reason. To make better videos, put the title in so ppl look it up. Then get straight to the point. How TO INCREASE WATER PRESSURE WELL WATER / HOME. MAKE THE VIDEO, FIRST SHUT OFF POWER TO THE WELL AND TANK. THEN YOU DO THIS. THEN YOU DO THAT THEN YOU DO THIS. THEN YOUR DONE. PPL HAVE TO MAKE VIDEO AND EXPLAIN THEIR TITLE AND THE TALK ABOUT WHAT THE VIDEO IS GOING TO BE ABOUT. THEN INTRODUCE THEMSELVES AND THEN TALK ABOUT CRAP THATS NOT ABOUT THE WATER PRESSURE AND WELL AND EXPLAIN ALL THAT THEY WILL BE TALKING ABOUT. 5 TO 10 MINUTES VIDEO ENDS UP TO BE 15 TO 30 ,FULL OF NOT WANTED OR NEEDED INFO. WOMEN do this most, they will say, hi my name is Karen and i live in karrenvill Wisconsin and im here to show you how to gwt better water pressure, if you have well water in your home. First ill tell you a list of every single thing im going to talk about and why. Then ill talk about my kids and my dog. Then ill have you like and share. Then ill play background music so u can hardly hear my voice. Then ill talk about the kids school clothes shopping. Then ill finish by giving you the needed info ,to why you actually looked up this video.

Hey man, we're having this exact problem where our power wire underground is broken somewhere running from our shop to the well pump about 300 ft away I've been calling around and I've been suggested to get a navitrack to find the break but now I'm seeing it's for snaking a sonde through underground pipes. I don't know if you've had any experience with those and if it will work without a sonde.

I'd absolutely pay an extra $100, but in larger tanks it can be more like $4,000. I can get a 100gal tank with a big box brand under $1,000. A 90gal x-trol is more like $5,500. At that difference, unless I'm getting a no-question 20 year warranty, there's no way I can justify the difference.
