Welcome to Love Origami, channel dedicated to the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture.
Origami was initially known as orikata (folded shapes), but in 1880 due to rendaku, the term orikata morphed to origami.
Paper was invented in China around 105 AD and was brought to Japan by monks in the sixth century. These handmade papers were a luxury item, so paper folding in ancient Japan was strictly for special occasions and religious rituals at ceremonies. By the 1600's, paper folding in Japan had become recreational as well as ceremonial.
According to some sources, paper folding emerged in Europe around 700 AD, partly because of the famous Silk Road, a network of trade routes that connected the East and West.
Origami today has evolved into a modern art form, often used in design and architecture. Complex geometric folding algorithms also have their application in the fields of science, technology and engineering.

How to make an Origami Dragon
This is my variation of Robert Neale's Origami Dragon. It's an intermediate-level model, but isn't too hard - it can be folded just fine from 15x15cm paper.

Thanku you very much ❤❤❤❤ my dragon is so cool i am waiting for my results love origami
This is a work of art tantamoint to a sculpture. It isn't at all easy and as usual with these things they are let down by very fiddly detail at the end of the job. I think if I atempt this it's going to be a disaster!!! Got to try though. Disappointment is almost built in I can feel it already!!! Follow up - I made it and it was OK albeit a bit like a dog designed by the person who designed Concord !!! Still I give a good like for this one here it's the best I've seen.
Failed
what are you failing at?
It is the best thing I’ve ever seen!😄😄
🙂
It is the best thing I’ve ever seen!😄😄
I'm speechless ! 😊
you using kami paper?
No, nothing special, it is a colored paper for printers.
Can u be a little faster plzz
CZcams allows playback speeds of up to 2x. Thanks for watching!
❤❤
Um if there were a white side where do I start
I actually feel like I could do this on the first try even after just one watch. Thank you for this, it looks awesome!
This looks like a slow, step by step tutorial variation of the Robert Neale dragon, which is easy to customaize. I made a group with various head and tail variations. Some folders like to graft on a head, like from the Kawasaki dragon. I've made that head but not able to make it small enough for my dragons. A viewer thought this was a flapping bird variation. So how about uploading a slow step by step FB, which is suitable for beginners?
honestly its hard to follow the mi to last part but its cool
So cool and fun. I started making 折り紙 just yesterday and was able to complete it successfully. I put it on my partner's desk while she was on a meeting to let her smile. Thank you for this!
You, sir, are a literal godsend. I am putting together a miniature Diagon alley for my sons 11th Harry Potter birthday party this year, and I have been trying for the life of me to figure out how I’m going to make a dragon for the top of the Gringotts storefront. This is such beautiful, articulate work. Thank you for sharing your talent! It’s going to be epic!
Thank you very much. I wish a happy birthday to your son, have fun! 🎈
For people who find this too too slow, change the setting to a faster speed.
Really slow & easy, goof-proof and not fast & confusing like other "Easy" bad videos. Love origami!
Thank you for clearing that up. I needed this. 🙂
Thanks! It's very nice!
I'm glad you like it!
Me ha encantado hacerlo. Gracias !

7:26 is there any more explanation of this step? I'm really confused by this Edit: Okay, i get it. Now I'm confused by the tail and head haha. I ended up giving up towards the end and skipping that weird part with the triangle left over because it's like 10:50pm rn and I'm a bit frustrated
I’ve made over ten army’s

I loved it so much. So I made it in inter house origami competition of my school and everyone was shocked.
A lovely box, thanks for sharing. Who designed this? Is it by Tomoko Fuse?
Yes, it is! Designed by Tomoko Fuse. You're welcome.
I made my firat dragon!! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I'm definitely sending my friend a sticky note dragon army!!! (P.S. Sticky notes are not the best origami material, it's all i got) :)
Use what you have, sticky notes are great! Have fun! :)
Folding this dragon from a 3" square is fantastic! I've made cranes from a gum wrapper and will try to "transition" one into a dragon.
