Having Yakuza 5, Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 6 outside of the top half is just wrong. Yakuza 5 is my personal favorite game in the series and I never had trouble remembering any of the main story (and I did all the side content) so that is your fault, not the game’s fault. At least you put Yakuza 4 low on the list. Personally it is my least favorite game and I actually hate it.

What place would you give to Ebina? For me it would be at least top 10. His motivation is understable and the theme is so good and really fit fight atmosphere. And it was pretty hard for me because i hasn't prepared at all. This fight is peak but Shishido is still best end to Kiryu saga in my opinion

You're not wrong about cutting the Snake Flower Triad. You could also cut the subplot with Date's daughter and the Florist's son. Heck you feasibly cut the Florist out all together and still have the story go on. But as long as they have a scene of Kiryu singing either Judgement or Baka Mitai I'll be happy.

Slugger style and Beast Style in Yakuza 0 are just stupidly broken. Even the hardest enemies don’t stand a chance against those styles.

I have a couple of gripes with Kiwami’s Dragon style that bring it down for me: 1. Double Finishers draining Heat. It’s so weird, no other game does it, and what’s even weirder is that Finishing Holds ALSO drain Heat, so it’s just weird for both of them to. Even further, if you charge a Double Finisher, your Heat goes down. The. Drain. This is bad, but it wouldn’t be as annoying if it weren’t for the… 2. Slow combo speed without Heat, even when fully upgraded. Once you get upgraded, it should just keep your combo speed at maximum period, not still make it irritatingly sluggish. This ALSO wouldn’t be as horrible of an issue if it weren’t for… 3. The slow Heat gain rate. This remains a problem even when fully upgraded. It’s an especially noticeable issue since the other styles gain Heat at a very good rate, to the point that you are almost always better off swapping to another style to gain Heat before swapping to Dragon unless you want to Tiger Drop. It’s especially insulting how little Dragon’s taunt fills, and because of how Kiwami handles Heat gain, you can’t even taunt to bring it up once you have a bar filled since all of the bars are Red Heat. Honestly, this is the biggest issue crippling the style. 4. The Komaki Parry being borderline useless. Virtually every boss in the game can’t be stunned by it, the Heat gain from it is virtually NOTHING, and the timing for it is weirdly strict compared to the infamously broken Kiwami Tiger Drop. I get that this stuff may have been done to better balance the style compared to Yakuza 5 where Kiryu is the most busted he has EVER been, but it frankly makes the style way less enjoyable and makes me not want to use it, which is a shame since otherwise, it’s really fun.

I had to give up on getting 100% on Ishin because of the Seals. I sunk close to 200 hours and I got 33/45 of them. That’s some awful game design.

Nuketown Zombies is the proof that the survival map concept works. It remains one of my favourite maps to this day, I love Moon as well and the broken earth storyline was underutilised and I wish it got more maps in zombies

It was honestly a let down that the DLC maps didn’t have survival modes that trimmed down the map and completely eliminated any DLC requirements. The issue is it’s reliant on a very specific design: separate areas that hold up on their own. This was nearly abandoned as BO2 went on. Increasingly claustrophobic areas that force walking through entire areas of the map instead of a couple of rooms. With the change in Zombie mechanics going into BO3 on top of movement changes, I’m really not surprised it was abandoned. Repurposing multiplayer maps in Cold War was the equivalent to this in terms of padding content, but it’s certainly not the same as playing a purpose made map.

29:37 they are actually technically the closest and furthest away on the map at the same time. This is because you can go down from the higher up one, but have to essentially traverse the entire map just to get back up to the higher up one. So whilst they are extremely close when going down, they are extremely far when going up.

I’ll take survival maps over huge and complicated Easter egg maps anyday

Survival maps as long as they are just smaller parts of an already existing map have literally no reason not be added imo. They take such little time relative to actual maps because all the assets already exist. It just needs to have the tweaks to make it work as a map on its own.

Well I think they could have done the same in BO3 but decided against it so people had even more interest in purchasing Zombies Chronicles which had more World at War maps. Even The Giant was exclusive.

Survival maps are crucial for ensuring anyone can enjoy zombies. Not everyone (including me) likes having to do half the “easter egg” (are they even easter eggs anymore?) to get set up.

If they were smart they would just modify all Multiplayer maps to be Survival

There should always be a haven for players to resort to when they feel overwhelmed by other maps

I would rather play any of the more basic maps like Kino, Ascension, Shi No Numa, Der Riese, Moon etc. than some of the newer maps from BO3-Vanguard. I wish they made more of them, even if they’re just re-used assets from Multiplayer or COD, just as extra content.

I really hope that we see a return of survival maps and we kind of saw them return with onslaught (i think it was called?). Sometimes you just want a simple experience instead of having to deal with a lot of quests, some of my most played maps are the giant, shi no numa and town and that's for a reason Btw, it's great that you dedicated some time to non-Treyarch zombies modes, i feel like most creators and hardcore fans don't like them just because they're not made by Treyarch

These are the only maps I care about tbh. I hate having to watch a guide then go on a scavenger hunt just get setup. The most complicated I want a map to get is power and linking teleporters for pap.

The survival maps are some of my favourites. Especially Nuketown Zombies, I truly believe that if you were to play that map over and over and over again, that is the best way to improve skill due to the RNG of the perks and pack a punch

I mean, is it even a question? Survival maps are very easy to make and increase the amount of content for players tenfold. Imagine if we had survival maps for every BO2 map, Cell Block, Golden Gate Bridge, WW2 Trenches, Crazy Place, Buddha Room, Rooftops, The Maze, Buried Town. That alone is SO many new maps added into a game with very little effort and the same could be done for practically all zombies map since BO2. They help streamline the gameplay and offer a simple "Plug and play" experience for people who just want to jump into a game and play, rather than going through a setup while also keeping the bigger maps as the main, real experience for players to truly sink their teeth into.

I don't know why but I dont like the other 2 special maps but town has that special something I just can't put my finger on

I personally would love at least 1 srvival map, as for me i only ever played transit/town on blops 2 and still to this day i do love just tryna get a high round on town. also hope they make zombies slightly harder than Cold War bcos for me half of the fun in zombies is the whole overall challenge of trying to either reach a high round/build a wonder weapon or complete an Easter egg/storyline. just my thoughts tho, great video bro and like everyone else was shocked that u made this on an iPhone, rly impressive, u got my sub, cant wait for the next video
