I appreciate your information and attention to detail I’m this video. You helped me a lot in just a few minutes. However, I tend to favor a rope pan rather than a rope bag. Do you have any thoughts on this? Also, do you powder your ropes? Would you mind sharing with me the types of ropes you prefer and use? Thank you for you time.

i agree with the mini steps and moving from one skill to another in a slower pace. Dido Miles on hauling too and riding a pasture with cows grazing. I like moving cows to water @ 10 AM on a hot day, this is a easy job for a colt. This would give the horse time to adsorb the skill before asking for another. Wish i could have learned this before i went throw the school of broken bones and hard knocks. I never smartened up or graduated until i was pretty long in the tooth. SE Colo. and SW Kan.

As a woman, what is your personal preference on head ropes? Also, is there a particular reason why most women head closer to the hip instead of staying wide? I for some reason can't seem to feel the tip of my rope until I feed or have a big loop. Any feedback or info is appreciated. I was taught to rope by a calf roper, so I am trying to change my old habits. I rope great on the dummy while staying out, but I seem to fall apart on live steers. Thanks
