Pokemon Cypher 2019 Ranking - Worst to Best

REASONS FOR ALL PLACEMENTS BELOW
18. Archer - Actual pokemon references that require much thinking are far and few between, the beat does not fit the triplet flow that he is using throughout the entire rap.
17. Anonymuz - This verse would be much better with a more Denzel Curry-esque beat, but again, the Pokemon references in this one are very basic, like the Nidoking line.
16. Kezura - This one is actually pretty good, but there are sections of it that last too long and just are him having a soundcloud rapper moment and not mentioning anything about Pokemon
15. KING Shofu - While this one doesn't have amazing Pokemon references, there are some clever lines, and he changes his flow occasionally, overall a pretty good verse.
14. Tanukes - The lines are very clever on this one are great, and the flow changes are awesome, unfortunately it wasn't good enough to top the veterans and some of the newcomers.
13. Scoot - The rapping portion of this verse would put it in the top 8, but the layered singing portion completely ruins any chance of this one being top 10.
12. G. Yee - While G. Yee's lines and delivery are great, the beat is not amazing, seeing as it is just the Red/Blue music with some drums.
11. Matt Houston - Same issue as G. Yee, the lines are clever, just undermined by a pretty lazy beat.
10. ShueTube - Way too short, it felt like the verse could have gone on for another 16, but he ended it seemingly quickly after he started.
9. Beatdown - This verse has grown on me, personally. Beatdown's delivery and references are clever and hilarious, and the beat goes very well with the verse itself.
8. Token Black - Token Black has changed a lot from 2013 and 2016, when he's rapping into a proper microphone, it instantly increases the quality of the verse. Lines and delivery are very clever.
7. Pe$o Pete - He makes his cypher debut here, but he's worked with Shofu on Trap Ketchum. Personally, while the lines aren't amazing, the raspy voice is hilarious and makes anything he's saying sound extremely hard.
6. JWittz - JWittz does not have a rapper voice at all, but his lines are clever and hilarious.
5. Shofu/VI Seconds - The tag team is too powerful for this cypher. I think shofu does better here, because he handles it.
4. OmarCameUp - The beat is honestly the best part of this verse, it works so well with the rythem that he went with for his verse.
3. CTC - While I think CTC outdoes both his 2013 and 2016 verse with this hilarious two-part verse, I think two more people outdo it in this one.
2. Black Lynk - The furry truely impresses on this, maybe its the shock factor when you go from the fur suit, to one of the hardest deliveries in any Pokemon rap ever. Overall amazing verse.
1. Chris Patrick - Chris Patrick performs a master-class on rapping, the delivery is genius and the lines are so clever but obvious that you cant help but stank-face after every bar. Easily the best verse in any of the 3 pokemon cyphers yet.

Personally, I don't believe Shofu and Shizzy are contestable. I agree that they are the best duo in the cypher, but CTC is definitely not above them.
Nah bruh CTC is definitely above them. The potential was there for Shofu x Shizzy but it fell short because the back to back spitting wasn't executed as well as it could have been. Shofu mentioned some shit like this on Twitch, the way he wanted it done was for them to be picking right back up where the other left off, the way Shofu and Scoot did in 2016. Had it been done that way it would have been the best verse on here.
