I think the "why September" could be broken into two pieces--- 1) Why is the "overall win rate"(green month) so low at 30%?? ie..Mutual funds rebalance for the last qtr.....Hedge fund managers come back from summer break & feel cautious after YTD gains....or want to sell tax loss stocks....Parents need to sell to fund their kids college bills...etc 2) Why have so many crashes occurred in this month(and October)? Did we get "pre-selling" in August in fear of the september swoon esp in election years?

Well… the latest revision was a historical anomaly because of Covid, and that’s the kind of thing we’ve seen from labor markets all over the world (that is, fuzzy labor data). Nevertheless, there was clearly nothing shocking there, or the markets would have reacted. They didn’t. In fact, GS had the revision pretty well pegged before it came. Hunter Biden’s laptop is political nonsense. Here is proof. Some guy has a laptop that in 5 years has not proven any criminal action, because no one has been indicted. That laptop is given to the FBI. The FBI, does not normally announce an on going investigation. So, Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer released a “copy” of the laptop to the New York Post, a Fox News sister company. No one knows if Giuliani’s version is the same as the FBI’s version, but it’s being released a few weeks before the election. That is the scam, Giuliani is promoting this information not the FBI. The FBI, who has not indicted anyone in 5 yrs over a laptop that had no bearing on Biden’s candidacy.
