Hobart has the worst customer service. They don’t like to fix their own equipment and if they do, they will charge out the ass. Don’t buy this brand!

I work in a facility that uses the FT 900. According to our maintenance team we are forbidden to put pots in the machine wasn't meant to be used for that. They claim they heard that from Hobart technicians. The video clearly shows pots at about the 5:30 mark. My guess is that the machine we have is just fragile and breaks down very easily so they don't want to us to use it as designed.

Wow... to see that the last post was 4 years ago to now. But yes agreed called them about a broken washer very obvious they wanted to be on the phone as little as possible. Transfered me to service line told them my customer was without a washer for a week and we needed it fixed their response is we will have a service technician call you back. That was 3 months ago absolutely worst service ever. Ever since then I've been telling my customers to switch to Bosch or Jackson, at least they will call you back in the same day and get you going. Hobarts useless.
