Such fun, aesthetic videos!!! Have you considered doing the Sterling Ink A5 in compact? It’s set up similar to the hobo A5 in terms of the monthly, weekly pages but the back has undated, numbered pages so you could still common place journal back there. They have the compact that has less pages and then a full year which I believe gives you a page a day for the year BUT numbered pages/not dated so it’s more open to doing whatever you wanted back there.

What camera do you use for filming I love the clarity and zoom in and out.. You doing the storing makes me feel so much better. Last month I purged and organized and was feeling a bit guilty at how much I spend on stuff for planning lol

Hello there! I use the read sticky notes to track the books I’m currently reading, which is sometimes 3 at a time. It lives in my planner and I don’t add the book details to my reading journal until after I finish a book. Still haven’t figured out how to use that notepad though.

I don’t think that case is faux leather.. it’s real leather. I have one too. So gorgeous.

I have this exact planner and yes, the quality is bad. However, I purchased it during the sample sale so it was half the price and I expected things to be wrong with it. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay full price and the planner not be perfect. The ring mechanism is wobbly and it has several cosmetic defects. HOWEVER, they just released their new redesigned A5 foundations planners and I really wanted the Ash color so I grabbed it for my birthday hoping for the best. It just came in today and it’s perfect! The ring mechanism is stable, the stitching is neat AND they fixed the air pocket issue. At the bottom of the planner they added a small opening and I think it prevents the pockets of air on the front cover. The redesigned planner is really amazing and definitely worth the price point. I’m assuming they listened to customer feedback and redesigned the planner.

My roadmap is great. I’m from Germany so most cool minimalistic inserts from the US are really expensive to order and then I discovered her and I’m so happy with the quality and minimalistic versatile inserts she has to offer.

the chunky uni-ball pens are my fav, I am also buying them in all colours! I realsed that it's more relaxing for my fingers to grab chunk that not for long period of times.

Read Goldfinch and the Dutch House for bookclub and loved them both! It has been a few years but I do recall several twists and turns for Goldfinch so can’t wait to hear your review when finished. One thing I found fascinating about the Dutch House was that you could see into the front of the house. That would give me the creeps..😂 Looks like you got the vinyl….love this planner. Simple and chic. It came in one of their sub boxes in A5. Great video as always!

Everything about this video was so on point. I like your approach to being realistic about setting goals. We goal oriented people and planner nerds struggle with over committing. I recently left my gym cause of the expense and the level of commitment required to make it worth it. It’s been a few months and I am ready to explore a different workout plan and options thru a more realistic lens.

Thank you for this review. I watched your video when you initially purchased the planner. I was about to buy this in a personal but that air bubble is irking me entirely too much. I don't want to chance it for the price.

Girl….. I have always LOVED the pilot frixions. Especially in my monthly where things change. But, the other day, I noticed the Ink had faded some. And in the past, leaving my planner in the hot sun or car has made the ink completely disappear. But more recently it hasn’t happened as much I figured because of their new formula. But the other day my planner was in the car with me and it was not even in direct sunlight. It was just warm in the car. When I got it straight back out, the ink was faded. So I’ve put it away for now. I guess it depends on if you want to keep your inserts long-term or not.

The pilot frixion ink was improved, it is much more saturated now than before (a few years ago). Definitely a decent option for those considering an erasable pen.
