First test trip on my completely restored Suzuki Rm 370. The only thing remaining is some fine tuning on the carburetor.
Honda Cr 500 1985

Definitely the fastest vintage dirtbike I've ever been on. Also great bike to ride with good suspension and decent brakes. And it always starts first kickđ The bike is still in it's break-in period!
Honda Cr 500 And Husqvarna Cr 500

Those little bikes used to harass us on our 125âs back in the day, and a few of the more experienced kids were hard to shake on a tight track! Amazing memories for me in this great video!
Had a 75 RM 125. Was a great bike. Iâm 60, and wish I still had it
Then, came the KX500 and nobody could even ride behind it, on rock roads.
Beast â€
For such a tiny bike that thing has got some kick. I was surprised to see that powerband hit.
@@vwsandvettes3253 9 hp in a 50cc from 1980 is very impressive!
@@TopRevs Yep. That is pretty close to the hp of a TTR-125!
Nothing like a 500 two stroke
That angry gruff sound, love it đđ
Nice bike
89 model was very violent and these were bought new they weren't wore out
I was way faster on the 85 model on the track
I had a 85 CR500 , the 89 CR500 way harder hitting and harder the ride
Runs pretty good with an over sized ape on it đ
Thanks lol!đ
One of my all time favorite motocross bikes
@@xipingpooh5783 One of my favorites as well!
Bueatiful bike looks and sounds amazing, true gold!
@@jeffgarner1448 Thank you! đ
Sheâs CLEAN!!!
Thank you!
That sounds like a 250 lmao i didnât except a bike that small to sound so deep đ

Noice bike
If you wouldâve had on an old white or yellow Bell open-faced helmet with black visor & old Carrera goggles one would think itâs Rodger De Coster rippin up that gravel roadâŠwhat great lookin & sounding ol two-stroke SuzukiâŠbrings back fond memories of the 70âs and seeing the greats racing at Carlsbad raceway!

what happened to the yellow bell moto 3

@@carmenherreramora5795 Muchas gracias!
@@TopRevs una pregunta las motos q tienes las compras o las creas tu mismo?
@@carmenherreramora5795 I usually buy bikes in need of restoration and restore them myself. But this bike is almost all original. If that was what you asked međ
Wow
Es increĂble
ANKLE SNAPPA
Had a 1976 RM100 bad assđđ»đŻ
Awesome!
Wow, all of those bike from the time had crappy brakes, I know, I rode many of them. I still have great memories though.
Crappy brakes and brutal 2 stroke engine is the definition of fun
Awesome bike, looks like it's got plenty of power!đđ€
It definitely got more than enough powerđ
great bike, try starting taking off in 3 third gear and hold it flat, its sounds looks great well done
@@volksdeutschewaffenss9670 Thank you! I think 3rd gear start would be a little too heavy for this bike. Second gear seems to be the sweet spot
@@TopRevs give it a try, hold it flat and dump the clutch, thats how i started races on my 370 back in the day trying for a hole shot, oh and lay down over the bars, worked well on lose surfaces , no wasted time gear changing into first corner, old mx bike are the best, love your bikes videos brings back memories
@@volksdeutschewaffenss9670 Thanks! Iâll try it next videođ
I had a 250,same vear. Incredible fun for a 14 year old.
Had 1 of these back then and ill tell you it was a Big Handful at 16yrs old great memories
I bought my 85 for $600 in 91. Hated that tiny kickstarter! But the bike was a beast. Hearing the bike in the video almost brings tears to my eyes, thinking back when my friends and i were in are early 20s, going riding all weekend. Before you know it, youre 55 years old. Dont wait to do things in life. It'll be gone before you know it.
My favorite bike of ALL time....everything was ''balanced'' to a magical feel!
Thing runs good
Truly yours -widow maker
Ive got a mint full power 85 cr5 in my kitchen...i look at it EVERY day and just think 'its mine !!!'...going to tune the carb in next few days and get back on it....just ticking over it sounds more agressive than any dirt bike ive ridden or drooled over to this day đ
Looks like what Stu had, only his was a 125. It scared the â&$#@% out of me back then.
Old Rmâs are fast bike for sure
@@TopRevs no, mostly when it climbed on the pipe. It gave a little warning, and I then learned what Wile E. Coyote felt straddling a *skyrocket!* Note: 1) I had just started riding earlier that day. 2) I did not grab a large handful of throttle - rather, I opened it gradually⊠and the revs climbed, then it sounded a little funny - and then *BAMMM!*
Nice bikes cool footage
Love it is ridden and not a decoration some where !!!!
@@user-ny9vz8lp2v Thanks! These old vintage dirt bikes are so much fun to ride
đ, I'd have it in my living room... a safer place to be considering I'm 64.đđđ I don't need no broken bones now in life. đđđđ But actually I'm in real good shape and I would ride it but not crazy ride it.
Iâm old enough to remember guys riding brand new RM370âs. If you stalled it out you couldnât just pull in the clutch it had to be in neutral. The beauty behind the RM370 was that it handled like a 250, as a matter of fact I think it was a 250 with a bigger cylinder and head, but Iâm not 100% sure. It was clearly faster than my â75 CR250.
@@bgjb-r1499 Awesome! Definitely feels very light weight with more than enough powerđ
Had an '86 CR 250 and a deformed right kneecap as a remembrance.
Thats what i waited for beatiful. Old rm's are animalsđđâ€
@@Kaapohamalainen They are awesome! We fine tuned this bike after the video so it goes even better nowđ
@@TopRevs yea i know that, if those engines run rich or crappy those don't go at all how it can

I had an 85 cr 500 back in the 90's,SOB never started on the first kick!!
@@ChadHawthorne-xn6ew Thatâs probably because off-road Hondas at that time made weak ignition systems. Brand new ignition system on this bike
Lovely old crosser, keep hold of her! â€
@@Newmanicus just spent the past 6 months on restoring her, so definitely no plan on selling!
@@TopRevs OMG well done you đđriding the wheels off that old girl- obviously not your first rodeo : lovely nice smooth style to watch and so gratifying to see after all effort doing it up you donât just parade it but ride how meant to be ridden đ
