Playing My 2nd Ever Solo Acoustic Gig! Back at the Pub for Round 2!
I had a pretty good response to my first Solo Acoustic gig video, so I figured I’d document my second gig as well! Here it is, back at the same pub two weeks later.. Being that I have a few hundred songs in my repertoire, I was able to play 3 entirely different sets from the first gig, with the exception of a few repeat crowd favorites.. All in all it was a fun night, and I think I’m getting the hang of this solo acoustic thing.. I’ve played and toured in several bands over the years, but playing solo is a whole different thing for me.. First of all, my favorite thing is I don’t have to argue over songs with other band members, I can play anything I want without worrying if the other guys know it, or if they don’t like it.. My music roots go deep in classic rock. 70’s being my favorite era, but I also love 80’s hard rock and metal as well as all the fun New Wave and 80’s pop hits.. I was pretty much raised at a backyard keg party in the 80’s when I was growing up, and these tunes have all been the soundtrack to my childhood.. The song choices are great! Keep practicing. Get comfortable with the songs and don't force your vocals. Stay in your range. Just let the music flow. It's not easy being a one man band. It's very difficult. I commend you. Stay the course. 👍

There are few other authentic places that are much better than this place. I’ve been here 20 yrs. This place is an overpriced tourist spot. But if you’re a tourist, then I guess this place is good for you.

My folks are over 20 + years local, and it's always the go-to spot for amazing ambiance and great food. We've done a lot of celebrations there.
@@MyDayOff If you get a chance, check out Norwoods Treehouse! The food is... not as good, but the ambiance and drinks make up for it!

At some point I just have to decide to stop eating because I couldn’t eat them fast enough to actually fill up on crab 🦀. A lot of places will say all you can eat but they will enforce a time limit.

Did you ever consider using a knife and fork to cut your food? You shovel the food into your mouth like a cave man. Maybe if you want to do more food reviews you might want to take a couple etiquette lessons.
