How can I buy a male!

I see that you used cold water to mix this. Your instructions say to use hot water. Which way is better? Also, can I add a little bit of garlic guard to it?

When willl colour up? I have 2.5 inches red empress. Except for red borderline on the fin. There is no colour.

Years ago I bought my first of them for a lot of money from the orginal breeder Thomas Seifert. Aulonocara sunset was the name he give them. He is also the creator of the aulonocara firefish. You can still visit his old page if you Google: Seifert firefish.

very informative, but I am thinking about multiple scenarios here. Assuming you have 2 or 3 fish displaying sickness and others are not would you recommend treating the entire tank to not only attack the sick fish but also to make sure that others that have not yet shown symptoms or may not be affected be treated as a preventive measure? can the medication be used as a preventive as well? For instance, you feed medication to your fish quarterly to attack any potential internal bacteria even if they are not showing signs of illness? thanks
