Follow along as we prepare for our Hawaiian Adventure! We will be taking a 7 day cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines “Pride of America” with stops at 4 ports, including 2 overnight ports in Maui and Kaui. Then, we head to Aulani, Disney’s beautiful resort on Oahu. Oh- did we mention that we are traveling with 2 crazy and loud little boys?!
Can you take it on the plane as a free personal bag or you need to pay extra?
Great question! Both of my boys use this as their carry on. No need to pay extra!
I read somewhere that there was no vents above the seats in row 12... is that true? Was the cabin a. comfortable temperature?

Thank you for the review. I just booked my wife and I in the Deluxe Owner's Suite on deck 12 suite 12006 I believe for mid to late October 2025. We are looking forward to our first trip to Hawaii for a 11 day land and cruise vacation on Pride of America.

Great clip and very helpful. When you were seated in row 12 was the recline obstructed by the wall behind or do you get the same recline as row 11

We have an aft two bedroom on this cruise 2024 is this cruise bumpy?
I hate to say it, but I actually got sea sick twice while on board. However, our room was on the very front of the boat. Our next video is a room tour of our suite and I have a video of the bathroom door swinging back and forth. Look for that in the next week or so. Location is so important and I think having an aft facing room won’t be as bad.
You said he would bring water and soft drinks. They weren’t included free were they?
Hi Cindy! It depends on what level your suite is. We had an Owners Suite, so soda and water were included. Family members had a Penthouse Suite and they did not have this option.
So the seats fully recline
Hi John! Unfortunately no, the extra comfort seats do not fully recline. They offer more of a private area of the airplane and additional legroom.

Thank you so much! As you can tell, we rarely went out at night! We really enjoyed the view during the daytime though! We even had a small viewing party when we sailed past the Napali Coast.
Thank you for the video, I really want to reserve seats in that area just because it looks more private, but did you guys find the restroom area disruptive? Our flight is shorter SFO to Honolulu.
It was definitely more private- there are only 12 seats in that area and 4 were taken up by my family. People waiting for the rest room were a bit disruptive, also the light from the bathroom would shine when the door was opening and closing. It wasn’t too bad though and I would still highly recommend it.
Worst cruise ever! Got off this ship/sailing three weeks ago. Shame on NCL for running this. 40% staff and experiences for 100% price. Only one restaurant and one bar was open. There was no entertainment, limited expensive shore excursions, dirty pool deck with towels and smelly cabins. They charge extra for every little thing like tax on drinks, coffee and milkshakes. Staff in each assigned capacity is clueless. Waitress was new and never had served before. Shore excursion deck was never open and when it was one staff member had no idea what the excursions were. Such a huge disappointment at a great expense. I have been on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean line and they are fabulous. I have written to corporate NCL to share my experience with documentation, receipts and videos of our week. Hopefully they will step up and refund us some money. A credit for another cruise is not acceptable. We might have been on the same sailing. 8-6 to 8-13. If so you have to agree with me.

We are in the front row, 11 A, B, C, with my boys by the window. Will we be able to hold a small bag in our lap or no? Also, in your video, it looks like the man on the window has a bag by his feet. Are floor bags okay on those two window seats?
I think your family will really enjoy that area! Yes, I believe the people that sit in the seats on the side are able to have a bag on the floor. Also, you can have a small bag in your lap as well. You will have an amazing time and thank you for the “Like”.
