I'm so glad i found this docu! It's so endearing what kind od friendship these two have all these years. I have imagined this kind of friendship to exist and it's wonderful to actually witness such in real life or real people i honestly admire in so many levels. I wish for their loving friendship to last forever. How beautiful.

Hugh Laurie first caught my attention in Sense and Sensibility. He is fantastic as Mr. Palmer. Then I watched Blackadder and Jeeves and Wooster.

Just would be a joy to have another series of Jeeves & Wooster series as older men. Picturing Jeeves as a Mr Chips at a boys school and Bertie looking like King Charles at Chatsworth! Married with dogs and kids at boarding and all kind of capers

I served in the army, 1978-1990. We had what the Royal Navy called Sod’s Operas. Whatever remote corner of the world we found ourselves in, to maintain morale troops were asked to cobble together acts for the Sod’s Opera. Some of the funniest comedy I have ever seen came from that tradition. I’m just talking about the deepest laughter from the most original sources. A lost tradition of raw genius. Christmas, South Georgia, 1982: Recce Platoon Royal Hampshire Regiment, HMS Hecate’d crew inc. the RM Naval Landing Party. I love the Footlights but I also remember the emergence of the Goons from the armed forces.

These two have been my favorites for years. I remember them first in Blackadder. I loved Rowan Atkinson and all of the other people that went on to become stars. Hilarious show as are all of the shows since then.

I love these two. I was born in 1977, my sense of humor was developed while watching a Bit of Fry and Laurie. They are wonderful together and apart. Hugh is fantastic in The Night Manager. ❤❤❤.
