Hello there, you are pretty cool IMO! And I’m sure you get the silver plate and more! I never considered myself cool. Spent my first 25 years in survival mode, people pleasing, the works! After that, took time to heal and learn the ‘art of not giving a ****’ - you know what I mean. 😁But one thing I fully agree with you, today because of social media we have the opportunity to attract those who resonate with us! 🙌

Last one for today😂 Glad to hear your partner will be ok. I had a scare with mine during Covid he had thought he was having heart problems…several trips to Urgent care, a couple to ER, I couldn’t go in with him on many of these trips, last ER he had that I could attend is the one he was finally convinced it was anxiety. Crazy how anxiety can make someone feel like the heart is breaking down. Your priorities are in the right spot. Exactly the right spot.

I clicked on Cameron’s channel, I think it’s super rad you connected with him. You’re the best Wayne. You are such a brave human. I love that almost all my audience also has channels and that is deep however it also requires my time to watch their videos and sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have more viewers without channels but I also know it would drive me crazy that they would “know” me and I wouldn’t know them.

I’m missing your social experiments😂 Love hearing about them after the fact. I hear sirens on a daily. I met up with Jen (beautiful life sage) twice now and in person. I was part of a genX zoom. All those times I thought I would faint. I’m super shy on top of being introverted. Cameron sounds like a cool kid.

I love that all my adult children volunteer to appear in my videos. My oldest son loves to bake and asked if we could bake together and film it. I have another son with ulcerative colitis and he asked that we make his healthy foods together Lastly my daughter loves to thrift with me and adventure and she too is open to being filmed. That being said, if they were all still underaged they would not appear on my channel at all. I actually can’t stand channels that have children. Always love your insight. Glad I started my channel this late in life. I was introduced to Aaron because of your channel and he is a riot! I love this community and because of your videos I don’t care anymore about all the money stuff. That being said, I will probably have to apply for a real job soon.

I love how you know how it feels to be monetized and NOT to be monetized. I have yet to check out your other channels. I love to hang out with you and since I’m not a tech head I have to be realistic about what I watch. I’m very curious though….curious by nature so I’ll pop over there so I can at least see the difference. I love to hear your thoughts on these two sides! Yes, that was also a common yearbook statement in my world back in the day, along with "best friends forever." 😅 But I must say... Praise the Lord that I DID change from the person I was back then! I love this! I do remember hearing this before I started doing videos, to have one person in mind and speak to them. But I think I completely forgot, and I'm not sure I've taken that approach in even one of my videos so far! I'm going to try to remember that for the next one. Thanks for posting this. This is a great practice. I tend to do the same thing. My subscribers who regularly comment are “my people” and I love talking to them. Knowing that these are the people watching, makes me feel so comfortable speaking about myself and sharing my stories. You mentioned Tracie…and I know exactly who you’re talking about! In fact, the two of us were just talking about you the other day! In the best way, too. I think what you’re saying is that you are a creator who cares and who is grateful for us. For me, it was definitely a process. I went through a phase of overconsumption, followed by a period of learning and doing research. Then, I gradually became more intentional about what I consume. Honestly, it took me years to get to this point. I know my channel is still small and new, but I've been mindful about my consumption for quite a while now-I had to do it for my own well-being. But I completely understand that everyone’s journey is different.

Why do I feel like you’re talking to me? This is what makes you so relatable. When I asked you a bit ago if you were an INFP or INFJ, I’m not sure if this video came before or after that question or if I just missed this? Since I’m just getting to know you, I have a lot to learn. I just know your values do align with mine and this is why after watching a handful of videos I asked what personality type you were, you think quite a bit like I do and often say out loud what I think. It’s the weirdest thing. Although you say it with much more eloquence.

Lately more of a consumer. This is because I’m a big encourager. When you speak on your other channels I really am curious about them. I want to create more. I never looked at it as a give and take. That’s an eye opener. Time is precious. I would like to be more intentional too and your channel has quickly become one of my favorites.

I’m more of a consumer than a creator, but I always have a background program running in my mind about my channel and my next video. One thing i definitely have learned as a creator is that making a coherent video is a lot harder than I thought it would be before I started a channel! I know couldn’t make 3 videos a week, much less daily like you have been doing, and you’re always so thoughtful and smart. You have my respect for sure!

It takes me about 10 to 20 hours to make 1 minute of CZcams video typically so if you measure it one way consume at least 10 times more CZcams than I create but if you look at it another way, I create 10 times More than I consume, it's all a Matter of Perspective.

Received a good handful of these comments on my channel and in my in box. I ignore them and it actually upsets me when I see them. Not because I don’t think I need help, I know I do however I just keep trucking. I’m just so glad I found THIS channel.

Yep I get around 5 approaches per week. Especially from LinkedIn. I totally agree, the veiled compliments and fear based cold calling tactics are awful - I call it desperation marketing 😕

I’ve watched this entire video and firstly I want to say thank you for spending your time to make this video. Secondly your knowledge is mind blowing and again makes sense, it’s a key tool to your profession. I’ve been doing quite a lot incorrectly. Guess who uses their hands a lot😊 and primarily films in the kitchen because it has the best light! I make most all my videos on my iPhone. I just upgraded to a 15 pro Max. I began editing all my earlier videos strictly on my phone. I’ve “upgraded” to edits on my ipad. When I got my first 100 subs I gifted myself a wireless mic. The rode wireless ME mic. It used to work great on my iPhone 11, it worked really great on my Canon 70D however I find my Big Camera a challenge to carry around and set up. For some crazy reason when I got the iPhone 15 and plugged the rode wireless into it, it sounded not at ll like it did with the other two things I mentioned above. A setting perhaps? Then I stopped using the mic altogether. I recently went back to my roots so to speak. My 2 very first videos were voice overs and my last 2 have also been voice overs. I record my voice overs straight into the iPhone 15 pro max in either the inside of my car in the garage OR I sit in my 2 door closet on a file box with the doors closed. It’s kind of cramped in there. The very end of this video makes me feel better it really does. Maybe I stress too much for no reason?! Lately all this being said, I’m on awe of your audio and it also makes watching your channel like the cherry on top! Good audio goes long way in my book. Oh and my last video, it’s pretty short, I like the voice quality a bit better? If you have a small chance in your day can you give it a listen…even if it’s just for 30 seconds. Level 150 for voice and 15 on the background music. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Wayne.

No way. In fact you are aware. You are so completely down to earth and I’m longing for more humans in this world like you and like me. If I’m searching for what to watch I’m selective. I’m a part of a GenX group that is really supportive however it’s also becoming a bit overwhelming. When I choose what to consume you are one of them. I have to choose at this point because it’s getting to be a lot. What I do know is, I do have a legitimate connection with the viewers I have. It is the biggest coolest piece of gold to me. I had no idea that would happen when I started my channel. My own mom started watching YT because of me and now she is hooked on so many influencers. It’s mind blowing. She will say so and so said this and I got this because of them? I was like why on earth would you buy something because someone “well known” says it’s what you need? Your channel as you can see pulls so many words out of me it’s almost embarrassing. Thanks for being a good human.

Gosh Wayne every time I watch your videos I’m so taken by the beautiful quality of your voice and sound. Does not surprise me that you do voice over work as your living. I feel 100% like you! everyone has to make a living. ads in media have been there at least since radio and probably before then. If you find out some way to commercialize this channel I will be all for it. Everyone has to make a living. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting paid. If you start putting in affiliate links I'll support it. I know so many artists that never make money and they have to give up painting or writing or singing and end up flipping burgers to pay the rent. If you can make a living selling some microphones do it. Don't be ashamed of the need to make money. If you can dance like a loose limbed lothario then you can pitch some ads.
