I hear some brief noises as well if I'm not mistaken after putting it into forward or reverse and letting the clutch out, it could just be the belt's or pully's engaging or that's what it seem's like to me at least. I haven't heard any lasting noises other than that though. I'm no professional or expert though, these are just my experiences and humble opinion. I hope this help's. It doesn't have all the bell's and whistles of an expensive deck but in my experience with it so far at least and in my humble opinion it's been amazing and reliable. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it but actually you can. The line in record RCA jack's on the back of this cassette deck beside the line out jack's which we show in the video are how you hook into it to record onto tapes, I've made mix tapes myself personally on this cassette deck recording from my Ipod into the line in record RCA jack's using an RCA to headphone jack adaptor to record to tape and it worked fine. The tape sounded pretty good also. It's not the most expensive unit and doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it has worked solidly in my experience and has been reliable and I got it refurbished at that, maybe you should check the unit you tried to record on as it may not be functioning right. This is just my opinion though and like you I'm entitled to it. Thank you for watching and commenting, it is appreciated.

Hopefully this new joystick will loosen up a bit in time, though after awhile using it we probably won't notice the stiffness as much. Either way the quality and feel of the joystick and even the button on it are really good. Thank you for watching and commenting, it is appreciated.

I can say that we haven't experienced anything like that ourselves, in fact ours has preformed flawlessly and the build quality on ours has felt really good. I totally agree, I thought that the dip switches on cartridge were really awesome. I think a little too often nowadays we see the usual software menus to select thing's and not that that a bad thing but it's just nice to see something different and old school again like this. Wireless or Bluetooth connectivity would have been cool but either way though the feel of the joy stick and the overall good feel and build quality make up for it at least in my humble opinion. Sorry to hear honestly, originally in the beginning Amazon gave me an estimated arrival date in January at the first of the year sometime if memory serves me right but I got an Email soon after with an updated estimated arrival of the 21st of this month but it arrived early on the 19th. I can understand the frustration as I felt it when I thought I was going to have to wait until January, sorry again but I do hope you have allot of enjoyment with it when you get yours. If I'm not mistaken I think that the other version of this vinyl with the blue letters on the front of the slip is the original release of the soundtrack from terror vision and this one is the re-release, If memory serves me right also there was a bonus track included on the re-release. I think it was the version of the end credit's music with saxophone but again if I'm not mistaken. Both are awesome albums though and I'm sure either one would be a good listen. Also it's cool that the re release is a different color even on the slip it adds value to both of them. Most re releases I see just change the record itself

Torch is one of my favorites though we like them all and we're fans as well. The replica's can get pretty expensive, though from time to time like on certain holiday's they do have sales but as you said and I agree they're totally worth it. I totally agree, the soundtrack to the new movie was ok but this soundtrack from the original movie is definitely amazing. Every song is really good and you can listen to it from start to finish while being completely immersed in the atmosphere of both the movie and universe in my humble opinion.
