Catching a fish on a Rubber band

From July 19, 2024: I've been wanting to try this for quite some time. Back in February I saw a video of a guy in Scotland catching trout on a "maggot" fly made from a rubber band. I tied a few for myself and have been waiting for the right day. Today was that day. #fishing #pondfishing #panfish Video that inspired me: czcams.com/video/q2I918Jv4dU/video.html

Great video. Hello from Canada. I just love grubs. Some of the things I like about them are, they are way easier to acquire and keep in good condition opposed to live bait. They work on pretty much every species of fish, you can imitate anything a fish eats with them by changing the colour and how you fish them, you can fish it in almost every way, lots of people don’t throw them so fish are typically not used to seeing them. They work scented or unscented if you have allergies or going into restricted waters. And they are usually pretty dang cheap.

The one thing that I remembered, it was in the high 80s when I started my hike and it was, i guessing about 67 in that bottom . I went back a couple of times, seems that ravine got deeper each time. As a side note, redbreast have been a frequent catch for my brother and I recently. We fished the Gwynns Falls in southwest Baltimore twice the past week. First trip my brother caught 67 fish over 3-4 hours, mostly redbreast, I caught 35, mostly redbreast. Second trip he caught 31 fish, 26 of which were redbreast.
