Created a quick spec ad testing the GH6 "Focus Transition" feature within the new Camera. I also used my new Leica 25-50 MM (50-100 FF Equiv.) It was a fun test showcasing one of many abilities this camera has. Equip used below #GH6 #Leica 25-50 mm #FCPX #Film Convert Nitrate

A few shots testing the GH6 @ 300 FPS/FHD-with my daughter on a trampoline. The shots were a bit soft in texture but mainly due to the Russian "vintage lens" I was using and I added a bit of grain from Film Convert Nitrate. The 300 FPS is butter.

@@silverlightphotoco i primarily kept the Leica 25-50 on. It’s a great lens with a bit of reach. Eventually, I would like to get the 10-25 to match. At some point, I might send it to ya to test!
@@scottmorgason Ha, ha, that would be very nice of you (but I would never want you to put your lenses at risk, even though I'm careful!) and I'm probably pretty far behind where you are as I just sold my GH4, G7, and I've been waiting to "upgrade" to the GH5 soon (and I'm sorry I haven't done a G9 yet!)

@@scottmorgason Thanks...It's kind of like I tell my girlfriend about sports: my favorite part is the interaction between players, and though it's hard to watch skirmishes, it's interesting to see the personalities come through, etc.

Hey Scott, thank you for providing this test footage, as I've been interested in testing this lens but haven't got one yet (I'm still trying to get a G9 as well, but picked up a G7 and may be picking up a GH4 on the way, because those are pretty popular, and I'm trying to create my lens-sensor specific camera settings database based on the most common and affordable cameras.)
@@scottmorgason Wow! You might already know that I've recently shifted my "focus" (from the Filmmaker's Playbook) to creating more lens-sensor LUTs (and camera settings recommendations) and I've been trying to create a list of the top lenses I would recommend for the camera bodies I own. That Canon was one of those I was considering, and would love to hear your comments. (I actually did a podcast talking about wanting to try that lens, but then hid it...because I didn't have enough information yet.)

Thanks! I shot most of it in the V-Log picture profile with the sigma 16 mm lens. Blessings.
