I would give anything to either see a remake of Primal Fury or a Bloody Roar 5
doa 6 needs some of doa 4 and 5 stages and bring back vf chracters 😅
Nobody ever mentions this, but one thing I love about GGX2/Accent Core's character select screens is that all the characters opposite each other are related to each other plotwise. Sol/Ky May/Johnny Millia/Zato Venom/Slayer Chipp/Potemkin Baiken/Anji Jam/Bridget Faust/Zappa Axl/Ino A.B.A. /Robo Ky Kliff/Justice Testament/Dizzy Blazblue Chronophantsma and Central Fiction does this too and I love it. It's a small detail, but there's something very neat and satisfying about seeing them aligned in that fashion.

The only thing that I actually think isnt good about Strive is the character select screen, and the UI. But holy shit GGXs screen is actual dogshit. Wtf is that visual clutter, and gross sounding music farting over the speakers? And that nasty looking green color is awful. Strives UI and character screen isnt great but at least its visually clear. I think Xrd had the perfect balance with giving visual clarity but still having some visual flair. Also Xrd and Strive are the only ones with good character select music. The others just sound fine or like actual dogshit.

I Dont Know Why In Bloody Roar 1 Bakuryu Face Was Different
Because Bakuryu in 1 is a different person and he also died in that game. Technically, he became Kohryu but I don't remember the details.
Bakuryu is a title, like Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat. The one from the first game was a man named Ryuzo Kato of the Kato ninja clan who let Tylon experiment on him to make himself the ultimate fighter.
Isuka might be the worst main entry in Guilty Gear series but man it's character select theme is so good.

Is it me or DOA roster post-Itagaki leaving/in 5-6 seems off-putting? Like in 1 they have more male roster and yet the female roster get more service In 2-4, they roster are balance or 55/45 While in 5-6, almost majority of the roster are females I'm not hating but I can see
They were definitely going for that fan service in the last 2 games. Especially looking at costumes. DOA6 specifically for me because the characters they Added, Diego a basic ass 69 move character. And the rest of the new characters were female and/or repeat dlc’s as well. The only 2 dlc’s that weren’t repeat was Kula, and Tamaki and when I first saw her I was like mm another pretty girl but then she herself in how she fights adds nothing new imo besides that damn slide grab thing. Like Ik people like the female cast but idk I just feel is way too disproportionate. If I counted correctly 31 characters. 20 female characters with 11 males. Then the male characters definitely don’t get as much costumes 😭.and then there’s games like mk1 that goes the complete opposite direction fr. (Sorry a little rant, I just hate how DOA 6 turned out)
