Beautiful teaching. So encouraging and helpful. Blessings to you
Crazy message, because religion, will ultimately, bring a person to a real relationship with Jesus Christ, Jehovah, and holy Spirit.
We believe that relationship with Christ doesn’t rely on religious effort, but rather on the efforts of God our Father instead. Religion says that somehow we can earn something from God, but it’s the free gift of Christ’s salvation that sets us free.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Thanks for this! Often people believe this refers to circumstances in life, but the Bible is actually referring to being tempted to sin against God...that temptation can be overcome and you can be victorious. This isn't necessarily referring to the hardships and pains you endure in life. God does want us to rely on him, to trust in Him, and to connect with a body of believers. Sometimes life is more than we can handle, but it's never more than HE can handle.
Thank you Jesus
1 Corinthians 10:13 King James Version 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Cool
1 Corinthians 10:13. God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. When you are tempted he will show you a way out so that you can endure it.” Sounds pretty close. Psalms 55:22 “Give your burdens to the Lord and he will take care of you. He will not permit the Godly to slip and fall.”

The Bible does say that God won’t allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear.
Hi there. Many people cite 1 Corinthians 10:13 as an example of what you're referring to.
1st Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. This is basically saying that God will not give you more than you can handle and if it becomes to much he will Create a way for you to endure it. So to say that this doesn't mean what you think is to call God a Liar
When it comes to this verse, many people believe this refers to circumstances in life, but the Bible is actually referring to being tempted to sin against God...that temptation can be overcome and you can be victorious. This isn't necessarily referring to the hardships and pains you endure in life. God does want us to rely on him, to trust in Him, and to connect with a body of believers. Sometimes life is more than we can handle, but it's never more than HE can handle. So it isn't about calling God a Liar, but rather to understand what He was saying in Galatians refers to burdens and hardship that we need help to endure. This isn't about sin and temptation, but the pains of life. Hope that made sense!
LOVE this! Was just saying to one of my friends researching what was said it is original language (& getting the context) is a game changer for depth of understanding...
It really is. When we take verses or even chapters out of the original context we can miss what God is saying in the here and now.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to [d]bear it.

@heritagechurchga i may speak only for myself, but most of my hardships and pains came from being disobedient to God's Word.
The same is true for so many of us. You're definitely not alone in that!

You have a beautiful voice thank you for sharing your gift ❤
God bless you brother not only for preaching this important message but also for posting it! Too many times when people are hurt by churches they are then gaslit by the ones who abused them and the larger church community that they some how "deserved" the abuse that occurred or that it really "didn't happen to them". Even worse yet, is being told to just keep going and being abused every Sunday and just "pray" for all of the mean people there and just "turn the other cheek". This is outrageous. My heart goes out to you being that young excited christian going into a church and then being shut down by some jackass. I too have been the victim of that sort of garbage and it really hurts and more and more people are not putting up with it. They will just follow pastors online or leave the church all together. A toxic flock is actually doing the devil's work when they are pushing souls away. I wish more pastors had the courage to embrace your philosophy of a love atmosphere when entering the church and acknowledging that toxicity in the church is a real thing that actually does exist and not making excuses for those who engage in it. Wish I could attend your church.
We’d love to have you. Hurting people hurt people. It’s so important for people to apologize, walk with those who are hurt, and take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen.
Chief, well done! 🙏🏽🇺🇸
