I know this is kinda late but these fish are so fun to catch. Caught a 7 and an 8lber yesterday, aswell as 4 more within the 2-5lb class. Incredible fighters

I live only 30 minutes from Patoka and yet haven’t fished for hybrids and stripers there yet. I fished professionally for them all across the southeast and make all my own tackle. I plan to get out in my kayak this fall for them. Is there any stripers in the lake?

We were using shad as bait. They can be caught on swimbaits and jigs, but you will catch 10-1 on live bait. Peacocks, on the other hand, are relatively easy to catch on lures.
