This is a sneak preview of our Mobility Van. Designed to allow people to move stuff with them and maybe even get out there and earn a few dollars. Even if its only tasking the laundry to the laundromate its a step further for the independance of those who need this type of vehicle. It is also and ideal small delivery vehicle.

This gives a much better look at the underside than i imagined it would, but the real thing to see in this video is that the scooter is able to reverse back up the hill again. Lots of scooter can not reverse up hills and out there in the real world sometimes you get stuck and have no option but to reverse out of where you are.

This is the NV B4 showing it can easily clear large bumps both forward and in reverse. Being able to safely reverse over obsticles is very important out there in the real world.

NV B4 at the Hutt river stop bank from the bottom. As with most stop banks this is both high and steep, but it really doesnt look it in the videos or pictures. Most importantly it doesnt feel unsafe when you are riding the scooter up or down it.

Makes absolutely no sense to use lead acid batteries nowadays, given the prices of lithium batteries. Instead of 5 heavy batteries, I use a single 60V 40Ah battery. Only 9,5 KGS, less than a 12V 40Ah around 11 KGS.
Very informative and useful to know this. I found speeding the voice up to 1,25 was helpful.

If it can be driven on the road it is not a mobility scooter. Mobility scooters are vehicles designed to help those with restricted movement due to injury and/or arthritis. They are only meant to be driven on the footpath (side- walk, pavement) Not on the road!!!!
The three most important things about any enclosed mobility aide vehicle are these:- 1. They must have cargo space for shopping, luggage etc. 2. They must be narrow enough to drive on a foot path/sidewalk/pavement without obstructing pedestrians. They must have seat belts heater air conditioning reversing camera motion sensor charging ports radio mirrors lights turning signals displays and functions that are easy to read and operate Central locking. A sunroof, a roof rack or a solar panel are at the discretion of the owner. Oh, and they should not cost an arm and a leg!!!!

Hi Richard, while these can have lithium batteries, they are designed with lead acid due to their weight. Because this is a narrow, high vehicle, the battery weight contributes to its stability.

4 wheels, cant drive on roads/bike lanes. needs to pass vehicle safety. 3 wheels though, and you can drive a tin can on the side of a highway no problem. North American laws were created to keep competition out of the transportation market and big oil in charge.
Here in NZ we can, but they did spend 2 years trying to stop them.

Depends on the rules in your country. Yes they are expensive but they are new so you really need to compare them to a new car price not a used one. Also here you can drive one of these without a licence or registration or a warrant of fitness .... i dont think there is anywhere in the world you can do that with a new or used car.
