Quite a few people have messaged me with issues similar to this. And there really weren't any tutorials that explained how to fix an avatar with a mis-named armature. Many premade assets won't work properly on avatars with improper names. anyone know how to make the avatar use the wings IN vr. like i grab a space and the wing animations work based off were I put my hands.
They would have to be rigged to your human arms

@ech0ing_f0xx24 it does require some blender knowledge, otherwise you have to use a TON of rotation constraints. I'll see if I can make a video about it.

Technically yes, but I don't recommend it as that will heavily compromise the structural integrity. Causing it to droop and drag on the floor.

6 days to sew a tiger tail? I can't even imagine how long it would take to make a cheetah. A realistic pattern, where there's a lot of close dots, not a couple hundred dots. A cheetah has 2,000-3,000 spots.
How do you go about furring these? Do you need to bend them when you make your pattern so they allow extra fabric for the movement like how you pull a moving jaw all the way down before you tape it, or do you just pattern them in their static position?
I usually only glue down the front part. The rest I leave unglued to allow for better motion

Correct. It is unnecessary. But I enjoy making it because it's fun and gimmicky.

do you have to duct tape both sides if you have an asymetrycal pattern?
Depends how complex the pattern is. But with asymmetrical patterns, always remember that the pattern gets flipped when sewn.
