In 2023 we revisited Corfu (3rd time is the charm :)). Of course we stayed in Hotel Marina (which I highly recommend). This video is the summary of the previous ones, for those who are lazy to watch separate 12 videos. :)

After a perfect calm morning near Marina Hotel we went for a walk and for another drone session. The wind were against me 40-50km/h gusts... but DJI Mini 2 again f(l)ighted like a champ. After the killing hike back from Porto Timoni Beach I saw during the hike that Agios Georgios Beach still not under cloud cover - as can be seen on the thumbnail picture. On the same afternoon I went to visit Porto Timoni beach. Noone did let me know its a really risky and hard hike from the top of a mountain to the beach and back. It's been challanging. But when I get there a really unique event happened, so I was lucky to able to capture it. After Magoulades I biked to Sidari to check it when everybody still sleeping. As you can see I was alone, and the area, beach were completely calm and empty. Like post apocaliptic scene. During our stay I rented a scooter to be able to visit this magnificent little town, with the exceptional roads, the amazing Church... on that morning there were clouds coming in from the Ionic sea creating a fog like mystic athmosphere. On our 3rd day we went in the early hours to visit a lovely village near Arillas. Last year I marked this as a must fly place, so I did. On the afternoon after visiting Issos Beach I decided to visit Cape Drastis, cause it looks amazing on pictures... but as you can see on real life too. It were a hard flight considering the 40-50km/h wind gusts, multiple time I received Strong wind warnings, due this is on the limit of the wind resistance of stable flight of my DJI Mini 2 drone. The first flying of 2023 in Corfu was this amazing place. We loved it for multiple reasons: the dunes reminded us of Canarian Islands, and the incoming airplanes using this area around 1000-1200 meter as the turning point for the final approach to the Corfu Airport, so you can see multiple planes here.
