Wow! Saw this when I was younger, glad to see it again. Very rough but maybe good. I think the social workers came out well in this case even though they failed. Of course it’s only fiction, but it is maybe a good reflection. Of course they wanted to give a message, to wit, we Britons have produced this crazy hateful person and he is wholly a part of the British, just as are the middle class respectable people.
