How to fit a Quickchange Diff | Subframe Rebuild| Mercedes Driftcar
Are you wondering how to fit a Quickchange differential to your driftcar when owning a little bit of a less common chassi which you cant buy a bolt on solution for? Then this video might be for you, because in this video we show you the process we used to fit a quickchange differential to our Mercedes CLK driftcar.

Finding rear gears for a Merc trackcar is SO hard. Does anyone here know if the different ratios for the 210axle is equally strong? Could you take the ring gear and pinion from a 6 cyl car and use on a high hp build or are they cast/made weaker somehow then the ratios made for the amgs?
Please tell me which factory 6st manual transmission Mercedes have a long first gear? I have a street 400HP M104 turbo - I can't buy an expensive sequential gearbox.

De är samma bultdelning så vi kom undan med samma drivaxlar sjukt nog 🥰

jag kör ju e34 axlar på min med custom längd från Fixit transmission, åker e34 hubbar i original spindlar@@englundasjohannes
Snyggt👍🏼 Jag skulle ha fixat en biffigare bukplåt under diffen som även går lite längre framåt, tråkigt o spräckta en så dyr diff mot några curbs eller liknande😀

jävligt bra mårten! de ända jag tyckte såg lite sådär ut va markfrigången när ni studsa på bilen, otäckt nära tkr jag :D, tänkte bilen bör sätta sig ganska bra vid gaspådrag, gick det inte få upp diffen högre? :) bra film!
Tack du! De är väldigt vanligt med dålig markfrigång på quickchange diffarna pga hur höga dom är, hade vi gått högre så hade vi fått kapa ur väldigt mkt ur bilen vilket jag inte ville. Bilen sätter sig 30mm ungefär på kw dämparna men får fortfarande mycket bra grepp, de är därför jag kan köra så bra fitment :D

Bra jobbat Mårten&Crew! Stilla tanke, vore det idé att göra vinkeln på klumpen ngt ställbar? Tänker då primärt för vinkel mellan kardan och pinjong? Original sitter det som kanske bekant ett aluminium "shims" mellan diffklumpens främre del och bryggan just för detta ändamål. Antar att fjädringsvägen är begränsad, men ändå... Mvh; Jesper
Tack så mkt, nja de finns inte mycket anledning till det då inte diffen rör sig i relation till lådan, de är bara på stel axel de gör de?
@@TeamLovetap Jo, vad avser röra sig under drift är det helt korrekt. Det betyder inte att man med individuellt helt kan bortse från brytkrafter, givetvis. Mao, på en individuell ställer man det i stort sett bara en ggn, vid installation. Tanken är ju att få alla brytkrafter till ett min. Så när man justerar till säg minus 3 grad på en stel brukar man sätta individuell till 0.5 till max 1. Detta eftersom klumpen vill uppåt på pådrag å saker rör sig.
@@gainforlife5877 nu är jag med på vilken jesper ja pratar me 😅 det är nog något som inte hade skadat o kontrollera, var ute o testkörde igår me bilen o de vart ett lyckat test, vilka symptom kan för mycket vinkel skapa? Onödig belastning för kardan o bakvagn?
@@TeamLovetap då så.. LOL. Symptom kommer efter hand så att säga. Å stummar man tex upp Hardys mm så tar brytkrafterna bara en annan väg. I ditt fall så kanske det inte vrider sig så mycket i tanken, men jag antar skäligt att max moment från maskin kanske inte är de minsta siffror vi sett. Stål kan som bekant både böja sig å fjädra, värre med mtrl som alu som tex klumpen är gjord av. Kostar rel lite att få det rätt och med det gjort kan man närmast glömma det som felkälla framgent. Som sagt gamle vän, bara en tanke
