Olympic style plates inside a toolbox falling should bust your tray. Plates are not realistic to your everyday tools you carry. My drills dont weigh as much as a plate. Not bashing, I just dont feel this test is realistic for real world test. Put your tools in it and give it a test.

AFAIK these are made by Tactix (china)? These exist in Chile under the Ubermann brand from Sodimac store.

Skil has a 20v model that is basically the same design as that 12v with a halo light, one handed collet, etc. It's also a compact mode which probably matches the size of the 12v better, too. My local Menards sells both the older and newer versions.

These aren't equal test, some of the screws didn't start driving in like others that's not the tools fault that's the screws and materials ur driving into fault but you started the clock anyway so not a fair challenge for any of the tools you need to start the clock as soon as it starts driving

Great job on the review, I have a Bauer 20v drill and it stopped on occasion and I found out that one of the motor brushes wasn't making contact with the commutator in the motor armature, and the springs to hold the brushes in are weak, however, it would be a great drill if it had a brushless motor.

I think a decent wandvac would be more useful and easier to use for what this can do and you can get them much cheaper. Shark makes a good one - but it's a premium price and the battery dies very fast and loses it's charge pretty fast as well. A replacement battery almost costs as much as the unit itself.

On 20 volt Hercules is very very good. Excellent I would say.

I’m about to liquidate my entire Makita 12 volt collection and buy all Skil 12 volt. Their right angle impact and cordless ratchet are top tier as well. They deserve recognition for such an economical powerhouse of a 12v lineup. Makita it was fun (and expensive) while it lasted and I can’t believe I’m waving the white flag right as you guys came out with the high output 12 volt batteries but like we’ve seen with the 40 volt line not even a monster battery can get you guys out of your own damn way.

Dont put weight. Tools with soalz already tested that theory.

I love my Bosch 12v, most versatile drill I've ever used.

I have the dewalt, use it everyday and love it - very controllable. I have a much more powerful impact that is heavier and out of control with power. That M12 Fuel is nice too, very powerful and compact for a 12v.

Now hold them at arm’s length and see which arm gets tired the fastest. Speed and power are nice, but ergonomics and weight while being powerful enough is also important. In any case, if I’m driving a couple lags, my time going to get them dwarfed the drive time. If I’m driving then all day, I’ll be using my 18v impact driver.

Milwaulee is china made n copies other nzme brand tools like dewalt . Klien. Hiltee n up grades....Typical China bullshit...i rep dewalt..idc....its American made..

Doesnt mean its stronger

You know the more amps the longer it will last with one charge

Only battery I run on mine is the 2.5. plenty of power for what I use it for

that base plate should be right at the wood all the time, no gaps, otherwise you measure something meaningless🙂
