Recap: No Ghanaian Athlete qualified for the Olympics after African Games.
Ghana put up an impressive performance in track and field at the African Games. It was a performance that gave Ghana 3 gold medals - two in high jump and the one in the 200m. I try to assess why they haven't qualified for the Olympics and the different pathways that can get them there.

Who’s back here in 2024?

I was here some
Thanks for this video. Was too young to understand what was going on. But overall, losing the first match to Burundi was the start of our problems.
We need our football to be fixed so we can start sharing this nation joy of football again❤. #FixGFA
There was power in that Jersey
That’s dope
What happened to ansah ?
Ghana defending was comical. Rather than screening and shielding, they involved in Biycle kick, ball hoffing etc. It denotes lack of composure I saw their sh1t display against Nigerians in senegal 92. The super eagles were not just articulate to finish them. I told myself if they ever went to the world cup in 94 with that defence they will get exposed.
Good work done boys ⚽⚽⚽
Rip son. Up till now l can’t stop crying. We hope to get someone like you .
Mother land Ghana we love you
Welcome to Leicester 👍👍👍
That's the game we want now
We won and went back to sleep😢😢
From generation to generation ....Augusco Adisco
Was there an official mascot in this world cup?
I love Ghana ❤
Yes Ghana's pele
I will always be emotional with throwback memories of this match. These players are real heroes. 😥😥😥
الهم صل على محمد وال محمد
🔥🔥🔥
we've pumped all our money into the men's senior football team and have left the rest of the sports disciplines to feed on scraps. Casting back memory to 2001 as a freshman in Adisco when we won the superzo; athletes like Aserewa, zico, madcow, scaboo were just phenomenal, Botwe had mbaa nana and Brokey, Augusco had taaaasste etc. To think that none of these were able to pursue a career in their disciplines was just robbery. Meanwhile if they were in America or any other western or european country they would have been appreciated. Thank God that Azameti is training in the US and a few other Ghanaians over there. I hope they run for US and not Gh. At 3:28 ; that's my p.e teacher (wearing white polo and shorts with port belly) from primary and the head coach of Adisco when I was there
Abedi Ayew was a great player but not a team player.

Much Love kudu's 💕🇬🇭
our mentality is sooo weak is sad to see, yet we have not addressed this. We have a serious issue with our mentality and is why we haven't won anything for all these years. We always get to the final but can't cross over.

Oh the Maestro couldnt qualify Ghana to the world cup 🌏, but I thank God his son, Andre Ayew is the 2X times World Cup participant, and now he is the 3rd Ghanian 🇬🇭 captain to qualify Ghana to the world cup 🌏.
Everything he couldn't do, his sons have done. Huge legacy for Abedi.
