I purchased a car worth 30000, followed by license, insurance, inspection and registration then I was allowed to be on the road, whereas a dude went to eBay and paid a 50 buck for a bicycle and claimed to have equal rights as me on the road. Go figure!!!

At least they did the wall tiles correctly in the escalator shafts. They're plumb vertical not perpendicular to the handrail as to not throw off your sense of balance. Unlike the escalators at Hudson Yards which are perpendicular causing an optical illusion that you're on a moving sidewalk and give you vertigo.

Exit 19 was formerly Exit 11. We moved to Rye in 1972 growing up Larchmont when the house and ride was formerly my cousin's house but they moved to Pelham Bay. Although I have lived in Chelsea Manhattan since 2004 upon my father's passing in 2019 at the age of 90 my parents were married 63 years. We sold the house from my mother's continued healthcare as I miss going home there's no more going home and I miss going home to Rye with all my heart ❤️. Playland Parkway turning right onto Milton Road. Turning left onto Oakland Beach Avenue. Right onto Overlook left onto Dearborn Avenue passing Rickbern Street the street where my parents house where I grew up in is. Playland Amusement Park built in 1928 is an historical landmark.

What amazes me wheneever I visit the in-laws in Cresskill, NJ, just the next town over from where you started in Englewood, is how quickly you can go from the quiet bucolic scene of suburban NJ to the chaos of Manhattan so quickly, and on a bicycle no less. You were in Manhattan in about 20 minutes from Englewood, and that included some time spent on a fairly long uphill climb.
