Aime tu mieux la tigercat ou logmax ?
Seems like you are doing good with T Cat head verses Logmax.
Tydligen ingen brist på virke där dessa håller till
Did you get any pulp wood cut? Looks like good stud wood to me.
Nice looking wood
Ciao.. per curiosità che catene usi per tagliare? Grazie e ottimo lavoro
I amazed at the skill of the driver but the machine is a close second. Amazing!!
Holy crap, amazing!
Profeska 👌
Whats the biggest diameter log you can handle with that?
Around 29 inches
@TRichard30 ok thanks...I'm looking to buy one to do about 200 acres I have....was thinking use it for the winter then sell it. Have a bunch of poplar the mill wants at 16ft...looking at deere and Hitachi...not many used tigercats out west here
You need to make more videos because there amazing!! Very talented operator! Can’t wait for the next video.
Is that 8 feet that you’re cutting 8 foot pulp ?
Logs and stud wood
@@TRichard30 ok stay safe
Man, that's fast! Is that 404 or 11bc? Great video, good to see you back cutting again. I've got a nice block of actual shovel ground to start on Monday, looking forward to it. Be safe!
I have the same aggregat Logmax 7000 but older . I am very satisfied with it on Rottne H20
An excellent 🤌 operator and a brand I love. 🦾🌲🌲🌲🌲
5ft pulp or lumber?
Smooth operator love to see it! Awesome video man 💪
why u quitt logmax?
I'm just the operator I don't make those discussions. Was a good change, head is preforming well with no down time
Hello TRichard30: Awesome video!!! Thanks for giving me a front row seat to all the action. Toward the end, I felt like I should jump out of the way, a few times!!!
Seems like you are doing good with T Cat head verses Logmax. Can not imagine the service matches
Tigercat head is holding up good. Service is good not that we had many issues
That is a lot of stems. I count 7 in a 2 minute video - 2100 an hour? And cut to length too. Holy mackerel, I'm impressed. I like the looks of the Tigercat head. Do you like it? They continue to impress me as a company. Looks like a new machine for you, I like how you already have the black worn off down to the primer where the stick attaches to the knuckle. You joust favor that side for felling. No moss growing on your tracks brother! Have a good New Year, be safe!
Wish stem count was that high average 1000 stems a shift. Not always clean going like I show in videos . Machine was new this spring has 2600 hours now no issues at all three hoses that's it. I'm impressed with machine so far good setup. Thanks for watching and happy new year to you.
Copy. I just read my comment, I meant 210 stems an hour - 2100 an hour and you would be able to leap over tall buildings in a single bound and shoot spider web from the palm of your hand! Big fingers, little keyboard. You're really adding up some hours, do you double shift? I hear you on brushy ground, that slows me down too in the Buncher, specially if it's rocky. I'll bet you see some wet ground too, though that block looks pretty solid. Do you guys run Tigercat 1075's for forwarders? They seem like animals, even at a 1000 stems a shift an operator would want a little bit of a lead on one or two of them before having them breathing down your neck. Ive always wondered about double shifting if the operators can keep one shift or switch back and forth. Seems like switching would be hard to keep adjusting to. But I imagine after putting that many pieces on the ground every day being able to sleep is not an issue. Is this a camp setup or is it close enough in so you can get home every night? Don't mean to be to be nosy, just interested in how other loggers get it done. Good talking with ya!
@@thedailylogger1045 The machine runs only day shift. A Tigercat 1075 picks up behind me, it also only runs days. I come home every night usually an hour or so from the house.
What size wood can the 575 handle. I’m looking at a 855 with a 575 I am currently running a 2654 with a Waratah 623
Not what size a 575 can handle. I run a 570 I haven't come across much big wood, cut two and a half butt off stump no trouble. It would handle bigger for sure.
Because I am cutting in the winter time
Is there lots of snow up there
All we got for snow is what you can see.
@@TRichard30 I can see what you mean just a snow there I always say welcome to Cape Breton because we got lotta snow down here in Nova Scotia and you guys are up there in New Brunswick so you guys are pretty close to us I’ve been in Monkton before is that New Brunswick Moncton
@@karsoncampbelllogginginc qe usually have a lot more by now sure once it starts won't stop till april
@@TRichard30 yeah and for us down here in Nova Scotia it’s like it doesn’t stop to February down here
They for Toothpicks ? haa
People need toothpicks
Nice video
Some nice work thumbs up and shared thank you for the video. 👍
Just Raping them Trees eH............lol
Tigercats are junk I only run John Deere 959ms in a John Deere 1010
How is your head adjusted for what head endroit has the length
Real smooth there brother! Making it work. Pretty nice wood too, black spruce? I'll bet it's white where you're working now. Thanks for the video, be safe!
That is jackpine. No snow here yet. Been a nice fall
Skilled operator!
Nice video but something is not feeling right lol
Nice stand of spruce there Todd
How’s the measuring accuracy?
Measuring is accurate and the diameter are good as well.
@@TRichard30 Nice, I'm curious to see one work out west here. Enjoy your videos - Keep them coming!
How does it compare to the previous logmax?
It's very similar to logmax we have all functions setup the same. Tigercat is little stronger and built tough . No issues yet 1300 hours on now . Impressed with it so far.
Hey Kolega Greetings from Russia
Smooth cutting- interesting you have the saw pulsing as a double cut What’s your thinking there?
Finallly!!! a video of someone cutting wood that we cut. New England hardwood. Pleasure to watch the smoothness of taking them apart. I just purchased a used 6000. I'm told a lot of operators choose to not use the top knife controller to run the knife close function. Do you run that manually or is it on auto close?
We use top knife sensor yes. We run it on auto
I’ve been running a 1996 Rottne RK 81 with the EGS-600 for 13 years. Looking forward to this new (to me) LogMax 6000 on a Rottne SMV RK 200 crane. Mixed hardwood and softwood.
Same here! I know im like 6 years late, but this dude knows how to run a harvester, this head makes him look that much cooler! Im in pa, and looking for my first harvester, im in pa and so far i think a tigercat LH something for steep slopes, cap tilt etc… AND this head!, now im creeping richards videos lol 🤷♂️
Ps, great video quality, mirrored onto my 70” tv its perfect, need longer videos
Popel cords up nice love cutting it especially if it's al pulp no sorting either way nice production cutting that stuff where are you located at wouldn't happen to b Michigan would it?
Great video as always. I'm trying to find a good used Tigercat with a logmax but not much luck so far.
How many hours do you have on that head. And what is the most common mechanical failures besides hoses and chains.
Over 10 000 hours . No major issues senors for Diameter and measuring wheel from time to time.
@@TRichard30 the xt series is truly in its own lane, I worked and operated a fixed for right of way clearing, after running the 7000 I was blew away how little we worked on it besides daily maintenance. Going from a ergo and h7 and a 803 with a 622 to the 7000 was a eye opener. When people ask me questions about the head I tell them what you just told me and that you have to just experience the head to understand the animal that it is. Thanks for your response.
@@korymichalicek6186 I will personally go with waratah any days instead of logmax! My preference! I never tried any ponsse yet tho
@@guillaumehebert8248 I ran a 622 for a while, well logging I wasn't a fan don't get me wrong the head did the job but. I didn't like the weight of the head. Went from the 622 to a fixed 7000xt clearing right of way for pipeline and power lines. I respect your opinion but After running that fixed and pulling out of piles I never want to go back to a dangle
amazing you can see anything in that jungle
How many ton or cord can you put on that?
Sure like watching this machine. Great operator too. I need to get one
were about are you working in nb
Miramichi area
Man your videos are awesome!
Damn that's cool!
do you have the exact dimensions of this machine? thanks
