A rework of this game, but with RPG elements and stats/skills would be the equivalent of having a license to print money.

If this was a side mode of hogwarts legacy I think I might only play this. I have hundreds of hours in this game and I was a young kid when it was out(4 when it came out, like 8 or 9 when I really played it a lot)

My first proper racing game for the playstation back in the 90's. It was this and combat flight simulator growing up. Loved both, awesome times. In this game it was hard to steer and you're punished for very little mistakes or going over bumps too fast but that's what made it great - it required patience, skill and slight of hand. I love a game that makes you work for the win. Also the NPCs are very similar today (they still use the racing lines) and actually in Toca they wouldn't let you overtake as easily, often brutally barging you off the track. Better than codemasters F1 game today

Only problem I had with this game was that it was wayyyyy too easy. I mean 8 year old me would win every game in a shutout on the hardest difficulty. Plus multiplayer would've made it a lot better. A remake would be sick but that probably won't happen since the franchise is dead

R.P.M it had 2 player (the exhibition mode) but it wasn't very good.
