Well I was born in Deepdale or should I say Fulwood hospital them actually lived in Deepdale down Castleton Rd, Preston it was an area mainly made up of white people but slowly became Asian, Pakistani, Indian, populated which as a boy did not bother me because I had loads of friends who were Pakistani Indian and afro Caribbean or should I say Are Jamaicans considered West Indian? well i always called the Afro Caribbean's in the area west Indians I hated the word BLACK arnt so called black people more brown than black so why call them black, Aboriginals are more what you call black. Anyways it was only a select few Asians that wanted to dislike the white people not all and vise versa Me I got on with all races and one my best mates who was a Pakistani was called SNOWEE as a nickname he gave himself I believe thought nothing of it just called him Snowee he had a great personality So long storey short i had both Black brown and white m8s. The EDL are scum and need to fuck off this planet leave Deepdale out the hate race. I don't live Preston no more as my family what was left of it decided to move on out the area i.e. Deep south of UK... God bless Deepdale and all that live there was born 1966 and called Timmy so shout me up if you did know me I'm still alive & kicking. One last thing i loved playing a game with the Pakistanis kids my age were as you had a stick and a peg in a small hole tossed it up and whacked it so much fun! playing that game with all races mainly the Pakistani kids my age Mm 8yr to 10yrs old can't remember the name of the game let us know what it was called :)

Kiwi here this is bullshit, deepdale is as quite as eketahuna on a friday night, I drove through there in Sept 2018 ,in one of these imgur.com/gallery/BtELw and had no problems....seriously Prestons a great place cant wait to get back and see fantastic family again

This just popped up randomly, maybe it's the timing with recent events, dunno? I was brought up just around the corner in st pauls sq. I remember the mosque going up in the early 70's. Apart from the odd nobhead which you'll always get anywhere I never remember any trouble. I don't have any problem with anybody's race, religion and I think most Prestonians are like that. I live not too far away now in a close by town and I can't believe the difference in attitude, not good. People need to get away from MSM and take a look outside.

Deepdale is a Muslim area, no question about that. Is it a no-go area though? Who knows but it IS a shithole, and one that you wouldn't spend time in unless necessary - and I have inhabited many shitholes. One has to wonder how culpable (Islamic related) immigration into the area is for the degeneration? Post WW2 immigration envisioned a utopian dream, but has it come to pass? I'm not so sure....

This videos all well and good, but my friend was walking home one night after a few beers. And he asked a group of Asian lads sat on the wall for the time. and they beat him so badly that he was in ICU FOR months he had part of his scull removed because his brain was swelling. And now he can't talk properly. And all that happened 1 minute away from where you made this video. Google the story if you don't belive me. So no not all Asians in that area are nice. I'm 6ft 5 18 stone done a few years behind the door for fighting. And I don't like walking round that area at night time.

Oh it's terrible in deepdale, I was attacked by a Muslim who hit me over the head with a rolled up prayer mat. Only joking! But seriously, yes there are some no go areas in Lancashire, but not in Deepdale. There have been a few incidents there but they are too few to mention, no different to anywhere else. As much as I personally respect EDL for what they stand for they are wrong about Deepdale. They have obviously been misinformed. My advice to EDL is go undercover and check the areas out before hand yourselves before making any comments about the areas. Check out Nelson near Burnley. That area IS rough.

I am getting to that age were one might expect the passing of the familiar, ( David Bowie, Alan Rickman,Terry Wogan among a few this last month), but you are may be not so prepared for the revelations it brings.
