The only "friends" I have are online friends, not because there aren't people I can be friends with in person, but because I have no motivation to go outside. I can objectively recognize going outside and making friends would benefit my mental health but I'm caught between a cycle of not caring and believing I don't deserve that happiness. This results in my past self screwing over my present self, present self screwing over my future self, and both my present and future self hating my past self. That's pretty normal though... right?
