I am going though the JS process now.. what I don't understand is that the total number of the people in the world that could get an Italian passport is something like 80-90 million people. How is Italy, this small country, not over run with wealthy people from all those other places that would get an Italian passport and live in Italy? My “PROBLEM” is I have been trying to get an appointment to send my documents to Los Angeles consulate and within 1 min of requesting my “prenota”, I get a banner stating ALL appointments are taken and I am to try again the next day. This has been going on since the beginning of March 2024 and I have saved all my screen shots. Would it be faster for me to just try and apply thru the Italian courts under the 1948 law even though my father was born 1913 and grandpa didn’t Naturalize until 1918?
