Why do I keep getting quotes from James Twining? I don’t know who he is but he shows up a lot and I never get good ones. Do authors pay the company to have their quotes rotated frequently?

My product is a digital product. I don't know when will I need to upload the product. Is it before I launch, on launch date, or after I launch?

Absolutely great value, but I would add product development to this because most projects fail because it’s just a substandard design or execution

As a backer on kickstarter for around 7 years, i have recently switched to indiegogo. Kickstarter has become a breeding ground for scam artist, including kickstarter itself. Their customer service is non existent, they don't care what happens to backers or if they allow a scammer on their site as long as they get their cut of the cash raised. After that if you get conned, if a project breaches kickstarters own rules and policies they could not care less. They won't be of any help at all, and thats if they respond to you at all. Also its now more common for project creators to set their target to raise so low that they will gaurantee of hitting their target and at least walking away with some money even though its realisticly not enough to complete the project. I would urge anyone thinking of using kickstarter to think very carefully. These days its not as reliable as it used to be for backers. When a project fails or the creator turns out to be a scam artist, when kickstarters own rules are broken that do warrant a refund, you will not get your money back. I can't comment on idiegogo as i have not used it enough. However it usually consists of projects that were on kickstarter and were a success and actually delivered the product promised. So at this point i consider it less of a risk.

Can you limit sales due to production constraints? If I build it myself, I can only produce so many in a given month. Also, is there a delivery date limit as to how late the product should be shipped?

I think this scenario is most applicable when the companies in this example comparison are new companies that are trying to produce/manufacture a brand new product for the 1st time. The larger order with a lot more money raised can put pressure and overwhelm the creators as they are finding out about unforseen problems or issues for the 1st time ever, issues they did not forsee or anticipate. On the other hand, a company that's been in business for several years and still has a great relationship with the same manufacturer that they started with, raising over a million dollars for a new product launch should be the goal, it's the whole reason they came on to Kickstarter, to tap into a huge network of Backers in the crowdfunding space to help Kick Start a new product into becoming a well known brand in America! That should be the mission!

Don't forget about YAW VR 2 had similiar situation with inflationary costs and how much they are burning through all their money. Still waiting for my product sadly.

I like breaking this down into digestible steps, but I can't seem to land on a way to keep it all together. I've used OneNote, Google sheets, pen and paper notebook, etc. and nothing seems to stick with me. Also, shoutout to Avantris. Hilarious show.
