Thanks for watching ! I wanted to do a quick run in the snow with my mini erevo vxl this is the very first time I've gotten to run it in snow , it's completely stock on 2x 2s lipos I've got some 2.2 paddle tires I want to try out on it next !

This is just a quick look at the new olight magnetic USB charger it will charge anything 1.2v and 3.7v cut off voltage 1.45v for nimh and 4.2v lion charge current is 750mah it auto detects what chemistry and polarity .

Just playing around with my spawn seeing how this new setup works iv upgrade to brushless a while back in this video I'm running 2s but can run up to 4s . It has all steel gears vanquish Stainless steel links for strength and lower cg as well as mip steel drive shafts and 2oz weights in each front wheel. So far so good .thanks for watching! Surprisingly enough the stock drive shafts have served well for quite a while after the brushless upgrade but now the rear finally twisted so I got these bad boys to replace them . Mip steel center spline drive shafts !

What are you geared here ?... I have two Traxxas 1/16th scale e Revo vxl's lol. I'm geared 31 pinion 45 spur on one and on the other I kept the stock pinion which is 28 tooth and the spur is 45 instead of the stock 50 from when I first bought them. They are BAD ASS !. I also have the big e Revo which has been discontinued... The previous version that looks more like the mini then the new so called 2.0....
Part of the fun is pushing the trucks until they explode... I dig it man!

What do you use to recharge this since I only have the niteride charger.
+Paul Neumann I use a hi-tech multi chemistry charger but all you need for this battery is a 7.2v rc charger
RC battery chargers are easy to come by, limited only by how big a battery nerd you are. Ray, how old was the Enduro, and post pics if you tear down the old batt. I hope this works for my 7.2 1400 pro THX

Nice job! I have an old enduro model. the battery is shot. there are 3 leads, power, ground and data. I'm going to use a 11.1v 2200mah rc airplane battery to power it but I don't know which lead is power? I'm going to use the same plug you used in your video. any idea how to identify the leads? Thank you very much:)

i cut and stripped the outer sheath and there were only 2 wires so it was easy. The light unit was bad. I used the damn thing once...so pissed, what a joke. I called a long time ago when it failed and Niterider wouldn't do anything for me. I wasn't sure if it was the battery or the light...but it was the light. Thank you for the reply!!

Dwayne Baker I've actually never broke anything other then stripping the trans that are now steel gears along with mip drive shafts and vanquish links still running the same setup but I dropped a 4s lipo in it lol for speed but for crawling it works best on 2s

1jdm408 the streamlight has a much better useful beam and good runtime the 511 is mostly flood light so it's not my favorite although I also have an olight i3s EOS and it's even better than the stream light it puts out a nice beam and it's 80 lumens
is the hpi mini recon waterproof becasue i was driving it and i kind of drove it in the water can it be fixed or no?
MEXTHAIBOXER it is not waterproof from factory so you probably fried the ESC and they sale replacements . check out my waterproofing video so it doesn't matter if it gets wet thanks !

It's a brushed motor so it doesn't have to be waterproof just make sure it's clean and lubricated

Cool video. It should be hardcore in mud or on hills. I put a 4k brushless 3s and v tread tires in my wraith with only free mods. It was a lot of fun on 3' of snow that had been plowed in a near church parking lot. It threw a lot of snow and was about unstoppable... until it quit moving when my transfer case gears stripped with no warning. Driving then done all together and no sign of movement. lol I should research since I'm not familiar with the spawn version. maybe metal center diff gears? That is a super cheap servo too, wow. Is it still alive?
The gears are still plastic in the spawn kit version. I replaced them with the motor and Esc like you said and run 3s. Replaced diffs with spools and tranny with steel gears from HR also used the steel spur gear from Axial. It's a beast. Not sure why this dude is running a rock racer on a parking lot. Not quite it's intended terrain ya know
