One thing I can't help but notice that the Mk 85 also pays homage to the classic comic book version of the Iron Man armor. I mean, sure, the MCU Mark III also does, but that is more like a modernized, somewhat-practical version of the classic suit. The Mk 85 with its the color scheme, in conjunction with the nanotech, brings it closer to comic book accuracy. P.S. I had a hard time explaining and I'm not even sure if I used the right words; perhaps someone can revise my explanation for me?

Everyone is hating on the nano suits but ya gotta admit that it makes sense. Tony facing an enemy that can slice open his suits with one swing, he needed to make one that could regenerate in case this would happen again and the nano suit was the result. But it should've had it's own thing and sound effects in order to make it more alive like its predecessors insead of being all like bloop done armor is up.
