No offence to this streamer, but they must not be a Renekton player, let alone a top laner if they think that. I have an item guide coming about item starts in the end of the week, but essentially Eclipse is by far one of the better items due to it being 2800, 70 AD, 15 Haste, Scaling Shield from 2 Attacks as well as 6% Max HP damage... It's a really solid item for consistency and it benefits the stats of an AD caster such as Renekton. Following on into teamfights, they must not realise one of the best builds was literally the Thanos Eclipse Steraks build, which is still good today with W max, but even then you can still go Eclipse and Cleaver, then still be tanky or able to play fights the optimal way. I don't think it entirely matters what you build honestly, because Renekton's current weaknesses even into the meta are apparent, so it's not as much as an item issue than that being a current reality. That doesn't mean you still can't also be useful in fights, you can still dive, one shot, protect and peel, overall you can still play the game if you know what you're doing. What streamer said this exactly?

They were actually diamond, but it wasn't my main. I'm trying to get used to recording on my main but I often struggle to do that with it being more challenging, but my stream vods always feature my main account games and I feel more focused and relaxed in those games for it. But in the future I will offer more higher elo games as I find that pretty important to showcase that type of gameplay too.

It's hard to tell beforehand if he will go E max or Q, but if he has comet and he's actually building AP you can build dorans shield and just rush BOTRK for sustain and damage. If he is full AP he is shooting himself in the foot really, he has prio over the first few minutes of the game to recall and shove you in, but most often you can burn his mana out fast and you play for second back or at least having wave on your side to make a play with your own combos or your jungler. E max Nasus always falters in the fact that he gains less stacks, so he doesn't scale in terms of his damage and potential, which become a larger component in himself to become irrelevant faster, on a champion that's already hyper irrelevant due to his kit. Guess another notes are try not to stay in his E when fighting, and before he casts E try to figure out if he's trying to hit you with the wave, or just the wave; this leads into predicting his ability usage which lets you play around it a lot easier. Hope this helps, I never really see AP Nasus but that's just how it goes really.

Sure thing I can try and play some more bruiser builds, just lately with the meta I found bruiser felt more suboptimal than Full AD to me but I'll do my best to do a showcase on that for my next videos!

Think most of my recent videos are just Assassin builds right? If I'm going Assassin I play for max damage and those items are BOTRK, Eclipse, Profane, Serylda, followed by a situational item. The overall AD diversity this season for Renekton's Assassin itemistation is pretty bland and subpar compared to the previous mentioned items in my opinion.

While I agree a skilled riven can outplay you. I've gon like 0-6 in lane and still killed the riven when I have ignite and ult up. You can statcheck the shit out of her

@@Monkeyman12534 I used to play renekton only. Idk if I was Kind of good or I've never faced such a skilled riven. Was diamond II the time I stopped playing, maybe a Master or challenger riven could beat my ass. Watching Godrekton makes me miss LoL a bit.

I believe so but the cdr and if it’s a matchups thats a max q, shojin is good. Also your ult per tick stacks shojin

Only bug with Shojin is that the first hit will only provide the bonus damage, while the remaining hits do not. Essentially it's a good midgame item, you purchase if you want lower CDs vs more mobile targets or lower CD champs. It's not an overly giant item for Renekton, but it's decent in the right game, but most often I just prefer cleaver.

I appreciate the comment, but I think my views are pretty fair. I take way too many breaks from being consistent, I don't push myself out there enough and overall I think life is a bit more difficult to constantly have the time to play at the moment. But I'm okay with that, in the coming months I have a lot of big life changes happening which will help me be able to push more content out there, so in the meantime I'm just trying to post when I can and just have fun with it :D If it ever gets more views or not, that's not for me to decide but I'll keep trying to make the best videos I can.

Try to post some hard matchups like mundo when he plays save the hole game and just farm with q u cant do anything and illaoi its not that hard but it requires a perfect wave management and controling the lane

@@qassamyt8416 If I come across them and I can do a good commentary I'll always show anything, but sometimes factors like teammates completely giving up and griefing, or my recording times being late and my commentary/gameplay skills are too sloppy are just some reasons why more videos don't come out. But like I said I will aim to do whatever I can for the community and I'll look out for these!

The low elo in question is Masters sir, but I couldn't agree more.

Honestly it's preference, I have a whole video I'm editing at the moment with PTA vs Conq, but if I need to hard carry I will go PTA with full AD build. Conq is still very good in some match ups, so I won't really main one rune and I'll always take both. More info on that coming very soon!

Way too overkill after 50haste imo, but Cleaver + Shojin is pretty decent vs tanks and games where you just want to consistently reach people and you don't have to worry about building certain items. I find in tank match ups it's the easiest to make this setup work as I come into mid game with lots of stats, while naturally I'm a lot stronger than tanks and can utilise E shred and combos a lot more effectively than I can into other match ups. Sorcery is whatever to me, I just tend to ignore than and just go inspiration tree or resolve if needed.

It should do, but from what I've been told and people have said, it currently does not stack together. Not sure if it's a bug or intended, but regardless both items are crazy good together anyways with their synergy with armour and hp shred. But yeah, hopefully Riot fixes these things.

Only the first hit works for Shojin, but it's a decent stat check item if you want more stats on top of having a black cleaver.
