Tiempo 8 was far from stiff in my experience, they were very very soft as a matter of fact, with many of my friends say the upper was soft, flexible thin and had little to no break in time. I’m not quite sure how this occurred - did you perhaps get a different model to mine? I got the elite model but sometimes models like academy have worse material - that may be the case? Enjoy trying out the Japanese boots🫶

@@RickSuzukiChannel In a physical sense it was soft, but there was no connection between the foot and the upper. Touch on ball was very bad in my opinion. No one mentions this model today.

I do think the upper did become ‘too soft’ if you like, due to its structure not being maintained properly which could be the cause of what you perceive to be ‘lack of connection’ so I agree it was underwhelming, but I still hold that it was a good boot- I think one thing that makes football boots interesting is dependent on the individual/player opinions can differ drastically 😁

Yeah I went half a size down - I’d think about it more as going perfect with the length of your foot, as the width of the boot will easily stretch due to the upper being leather!

I went half a size down (my feet are 24.5-25cm, and I use 24 for the white, 24.5 for the orange) - I chose it based on length of my feet (which fit perfectly half a cm down), since the leather upper stretches width wise to fit to your foot width!

Definitely a brilliant option - great strikers like Torres have worn it - one thing you may wish to consider is that morelias do offer good ‘grip’ for a leather, but if you are a big fan of ‘sticky’ or ‘grippy’ uppers to generate more power, then perhaps consider predators? I’d go and compare them in store and see how they fit to your foot type!

I think the morelia’s are the best option here - especially considering you play right back also, as it is the lightest boots here, and the 2nd option would be copas (I don’t like the new tiempo’s synthetic upper)!

@@RickSuzukiChannel I think Moreila has better (softer) upper, but I like the soleplates and studpattern of Rebula more, they are just more comfortable for my wider foottype.
