Comic book fans just can't move on and comic book publishers don't have any original or innovative ideas. They need to create new stories and new characters separate from the marvel and DC continuities. Let them be bygones that receive anniversary stories. Having less frequent stories would make them all the more special and unique. It would also preserve writing potential. Nobody really wants to keep reading batman or spiderman stories, they just want to relive the past ones. Stop trying to make new stories and let comic book fans reread their favorite stories instead.

I think it's important to note that in most interpretations of the wall crawler, he's constantly holding back to not kill his enemies. At least that's what superior Spider-Man stated. Also while Batman is strong, b he still doesn't have powers. That goes for almost everyone in Gotham, with exceptions like clayface, killer croc, and man bat being the few exceptions.

I don't think that the super-prison in Kingdom Come was bad. It was an attempt to neutralize super-powered threats that was humane and focused on rehabilitation. Justice Lords doesn't count as it's an alternate world. Batman's murder plans, if they were wrong (a BIG if), this is Batman's sin, not the JLs. But yeah, Snapper Carr was an abomination. But he WASN'T an attempt to appeal to youths of the 1970s; he was a product of the 1950s or early 1960s at the latest.

I never understood why they never offed the joker in the first place. If I had Spidey's powers and I faced the joker I would know that there is no point trying to rescue anyone or to try to disarm anything. Better off to just end the joker and sacrifice a few to save the many. Of course I would make sure he was no longer among the breathing before declaring being the winner. I know I know, joker is Batman's counterpart(which is just sad that is the only reason to keep joker around) so they need him.

Spider man wouldn’t fight Mr.Freeze. He’d probably help him ngl. Also spider man would be able to destroy his suit. Spider man has literally lifted and entire skyscraper. If you think about it Spiderman would make an excellent Batman. Although nonsensical because bats don't shoot webs. Although according to various lore neither does Parker. So if we are following the non organic version I'm sure it could be incorporated in a more bat themed way and and much more efficient method of travel around Gotham and fight crime.
