He’s so fucked up lol
Even Jimi is struggling with SG neck dive
Something tells me that after the psychedelia of the 60s, the 70s would have been Gibsons all the way for Jimi. More bluesy soulful sound in those later tunes. I bet in from the storm on this SG would have been 🔥
Hendrix, but with a real guitar.
Welcome to the world of the Meat Works workers.
This is the best Hendrix on a Gibson video I’ve found yet.
The one and only!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I must be in my world 🚀📡🛸🌹
Move over Rover Let Jimi take over
Who?? Jimmy Page! Your welcome.

Jimi's Killing floor make Clapton look like a begiinner.
How many giants of the 60's were taken away from us? No they didn't o.d!
Three guys come onto the stage and blow the roof off the joint. Just kick ass rock n roll.
Awesome
It must have been revelations when they were listening to love love me do.
So RAW, damn! this s*#t is goooooood
My ears have heard the Glory
I heard a story about mi6 and drunk deaths…really disturbing😢
Yep. The red wine found in his mouth had been tipped in after he died. 😢 very disturbing
If only he was alive today, he would be the most demanded guitarists sharing the stage with the rock legends and influence the politics.
Hendrix's Killing floor intro is unmatched by any guitarist during any time period. Who is left that can play at this level? no one.
Philip sauce and Chris Duarte are 2 off the top of my head that can
I love Hendrix's version, but the interplay between Hubert Sumlin and Buddy Guy's guitars on Howlin' Wolf's original version are tough to beat.
No doubt.
Holy Smoke. I used to play Led Zeppelin's Lemon Song which is really this Song The Killing Floor. Also played the original version but this was awesome.
Best improvised intro of this classic tune ever!🎵☮️💙
The United deserters society is who Jimi dedicated the song to😂 This man was too fucin cool!! This was ment to be a anti Vietnam song and she is "America" and he wishes he had deserted and gone to Mexico instead of Vietnam!!
I'm with Jimi on that one.
Cool comment 😊
What a Blues giant he was, he is! Thanks for the remastered sound
I got to see Hendrix twice when I was younger. First time opening for the Monkees in Charlotte, NC and the 2nd time at the 2nd Atlanta Pop Festival in Byron, Georgia July 1970 about 6 weeks or so before he died (tragic thing)! I was 17 and rode my motorcycle to the festival between my junior and senior year. I am a bass player then and now (played with Artimus Pyle Band) and have owned a Sound Productions business since 1990! I still get excited and love live music to this day!!
Man, you you got to see Jimi at 2 opposite spectrums! Early Experience with Noel and when he was pulling out all the stops, then his final year with Cox and where he was more focused on playing and developing songs... That's wild man! Atlanta Pop '70 is one of my favorite Hendrix performances, very envious!
Virtually everyone else's Killing Floor sounds like crap next to his.
the day hendrix killed god
I am here 2023
HENDRIX was against the war and he let it know ✅
And he served time in the Army.
I was there 👍🏻

Dude arrived like a million watt bulb in a dark room.
All I can think about is how uncomfortable Mitch Mitchell would be 3 ft from a wall of Plexi's

This is the song that made clapton walk off stage in England
Clapton could never play this one to difficult for him there's only 1 HENDRIX
Clapton = overrated
The bass here is killing it too
Lord yes
2:05 Did Jimi go into a fake british accent? lol
as soon as he realized uk gave him more credit for his talent than the us I wouldn't be surprised if he considered himself british more
He lived in England for a long time he died there
That windmill in the intro is some of the coldest shit you’ll ever see. Effortless mastery, you can’t fake that kind of cool
Tanner you are spot on Jimi was too fucin cool!!
Settings?
just like in the vid
I should’ve been gone!
🎸 god

Together with Cream, the original power trio...
Only far, far superior....
@@jimmytgoose476 Except Hendrix couldn't sing for shit , least in Cream 3 all equal talented musicians.
Pfft . I prefer Jimi's voice . Anyway , if that's your opinion what are you doing here ?
@@anthonymclean9743 Jimi could out sing and out play Eric Clapton’s ass
The two original heavy metal bands.
must have been crazy loud with those 100 watt marshalls
Eric Clapton knows this song...............JIMI 48 months on the scene Eric with over 60 years plus playing and still catching up ...
What does Clapton know about the blues ? That racist turd has been faking it for his whole career .
Clapton ic crap
It ain’t a race both legendary. Hendrix though was more than a guitarist he was a songwriter of the highest calibre. On par with Dylan
'We're going to mess around and jam. You would't know the difference anyway." It's well documented that Jimi was forced by management to do this tour with the Experience even though he was musically done with that format and bored out of his mind with the "oldies but badies", thus his dourer demure. They still manage to kick ass with Killing Floor though!
