Though I agree k ppl should put maximum attention in getting their income/ salary increased. But there is one fundamental problem in your explanation. The whole concept of MF is that you focus less yourself, and hand over to someone having a full time job of analysinf market. To ideally a person investing in MF would put very little time of his own, and can very well focus on his career. And yes, its outsourcing only, like hiring a carpenter to get your furniture done, rather then learning the art of woodworking yourself. I started investing roughly 5 years back with just 2k of sip. Over the period when I saw my money growing up, it gave me motivation to save and invest more and more. I now regret that I should have started atleast 2-3 years earlier.

Acharya Prashant followers are at a crazy level. They are just like the Modi bhakts that would launch group attacks on critics on social media pre-2019. AP says some decent things but some of his opinions on society seem too black and white and at times he has conflicting views. For example: in one video he tells people that work is an end in itself. The money is not important. Even if you don’t get paid you should keep doing work as your duty. Ok. In another video he tells women- if you are a housewife you are only doing 10000-15000 rupee work. You are surviving on breadcrumbs of your husband . Now tell me, is this not conflicting? In one video he tells people that capitalism is creating massive inequality and keeping people busy with cheap entertainment. In another video he tells people to keep working and work is everything. Is this not conflicting? He talks about women’s empowerment but constantly puts women in over simplistic brackets instead of seeing them as complex human beings. The pathetic housewife vs the awesome career woman. He tells his followers that they should disrespect anyone who doesn’t earn money. Is earning money the only way to be a good human being ? The worst part is that this guy Prashant always looks angry. As if the whole world is bad and everybody is out to exploit and abuse you. His followers therefore also adopt this angry attitude. But unlike him, they are not even smart and properly educated. Listen to him and take the positive but with a pinch of salt. Be happy. Be good and Relax.
