Idk why they care so much about y'all being there, ultimately what crime is committed by respectfully skating a public road? The adventure seems like part of all the appeal, but is the road itself worth all the shenanigans? Like surely there's techier roads with better pave around there with less heat.
It's 15 miles of very good downhill with 60mph+ drift sections if you want it so ya it's worth it. Most of colorados skating isn't very good.

Yet again, someone says "You flew around that corner and I almost hit you". Meanwhile the camera shows at 16:40 the ranger was stationary, blocking uphill traffic, posing a further hazard while the riders are in their own lane. You all conducted yourselves with tact: on and off the boards. The anger this guy had was more than he could communicate with you through and you all just let him have his moment. While I don't like the social dynamic of that, what else is there to do with such an escalated person in power?! Great riding, great presence and thanks for sharing the adventure. Will be on other runs in that neck in a few weeks and I am stoked!
