I've never seen any of the Mad Max movies, but I saw the trailer to Fury Road in the theaters recently, and I was inspired to work some of the footage into a video. While I had "madness" on the brain, I felt a few other automotive sequences deserved to be part of this experience as well. I borrowed our friends Alice and the Cheshire Cat to make the introduction.

On July 23, 2014 CSX train L341 carried Chesapeake and Ohio steam engine 1309 from the B&O Museum in Baltimore to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad in Cumberland for restoration. Who’s radio are we hearing, police or railroad? Someone says he can not stop the train. Why did he wait until he hit it to go into emergency? Those castings in the crossing mechanism could have derailed him.
I spent so many happy weekends there with my parents when they got plants and other necessities for their gardens, and I LOVED their Christmas shop! Now that land has become a convenience store/gas station and a cargo truck dealership. Like the song goes, they paved Paradise and put up a parking lot-literally!
