    That's been my philosophy this entire year going for a sub 3 marathon. I rest when I get tired. Had to take a week off serious training last week because mentally and physically I just needed a short break, but I didn't stop running completely.

    Oof, if this is what you teach you're a bad coach mate. Overstriding creates a shank angle which applies breaking force which in turn will cause injury. These people are landing without a shank angle and loading for the next rep directly under their body.

Local police said that Kiptum lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, hitting a tree. Found on his wikipedia page. RIP
