Navigation Bar Fade Animation On Scrolling iOS | Xcode 9/ Swift 4
In this video i replicate a navigation bar animation requested by one of the viewer. The Navigation bar fades from transparent to a solid color and the navigation bar buttons fades from a solid white to red color. This is just a quick video too give you guys the concept on how to do it, But in a production app you will probably want to create a method to handle this animation.

Transparent Navigation Bar iOS | Xcode 9 / Swift 4
zhlédnutí 14KPřed 6 lety
In this short video, i will show you guys how to set the navigation bar to transparent in Xcode using Swift 4. Currently there is not way to set the navigation bar to transparent using storyboard. So, we will be creating a custom ui navigation controller class to achieve the transparent effect.
DIY Lab Bench Power Supply | Computer ATX Power Supply Conversion in under $10

In this video I converted a Desktop/PC ATX power supply to a fixed lab bench power supply that can output -12v, 3.3v, 5v and 12v, and insane amount of current. The comoponents requierd for this ATX Power Supply Conversion are really inexpensive and with commonly used tools. I also added a USB port functionality to this ATX power Supply. Buck Converter simulation using MATLAB SIMULINK / DC-DC Step Down converter
zhlédnutí 99KPřed 8 lety
A buck converter is a voltage step down and current step up converter. The simplest way to reduce the voltage of a DC supply is to use a linear regulator (such as a 7805), but linear regulators waste energy as they operate by dissipating excess power as heat and do not yield any current step up. Buck converters, on the other hand, can be remarkably efficient (95% or higher for integrated circui...
Boost Converter simulation using simulink MATLAB / DC-DC step up converter
zhlédnutí 194KPřed 8 lety
Boost converter simulation/modelling using simulink MATLAB. A boost converter (step-up converter) is a DC-to-DC power converter with an output voltage greater than its input voltage. It is a class of switched-mode power supply (SMPS) containing at least two semiconductors (a diode and a transistor) and at least one energy storage element, a capacitor, inductor, or the two in combination. Filter...

Thanks for the video, I have already implemented the boost converter and got the output similar to yours. But How can we smooth out the voltage waveform from the overshoots.

I have a psu that worked, connected green to black and it turned on the fan. After cutting the wires, when I connect green to black, it spins the fan for half on sec and then it stops. And idea? The purple 5v has power for an led, but the other wires stop after half second

So I got done with this project, and while it works, it's putting out some odd voltages. I'm getting 6.7, 10.7, and 26.7! About double what it should be putting out. Also the PSU's fan doesn't come on. I'm guessing it was probably junk before I got started. I'll run it til it conks out though, just can't use it for any precision stuff. Good thing I got it for free, just wish I had tested it out before putting the effort into the conversion. Any suggestions to what might have gone awry are welcome, whether it's the PSU or something I did to it.

You can use it but there always very high current on the red wire which are 5v they can deliver above 20amp easily if you connect something incorrectly you can blow that device up

Very nice! ;-) An opinion: Using the red wire to power your Power On light (Green LED) is fine... But if you had used the Grey wire, you would not only have confirmation that the power is On, you'd have confirmation that the unit is operating withing specs! Isn't that worth having? Anyway, something to think about. Cheers! ;-)

im just now watching this for the first time. I gotta say BRAVO.... You did a great job my good friend. Im bulding a custom benchtop power supply unit myself. Im having issues installing my LED power on lights. Like im not sure how or where I want to place them yet, but im going with the 3.3v and 12v outs and the 5v will be USB. I also had to put my fan on the outside top of the unit also. im also adding a 110v ac plug for my soldering iron. ill take a picture once fimished and upload it to my comment if it allows me to.. Thank you again my friend, you gave me some great ideas on mine and a few extra ideas.. Chase R from USA, Ohio.....

maybe this will help someone in the future create class or place it wherever you like, in this comment i create class file // // UINavigationBar.swift // MyCeisa // // Created by raditsan on 01/10/19. // Copyright © 2019 Raditsan. // import UIKit extension UINavigationBar { func transparentNavigationBar() { self.setBackgroundImage(UIImage(), for: .default) self.shadowImage = UIImage() self.isTranslucent = true } func removeTransparentNavigationBar() { self.setBackgroundImage(nil, for: .default) self.shadowImage = nil self.isTranslucent = false } } and place this function in the view controller that you want to be transparent the navigationbar override func viewWillAppear(_ animated: Bool) { super.viewWillAppear(true) self.navigationController?.navigationBar.transparentNavigationBar() } override func viewWillDisappear(_ animated: Bool) { super.viewWillDisappear(true) self.navigationController?.navigationBar.removeTransparentNavigationBar() } and set view ex: (Imageview, scrollview, view etc) top constraint to be superview, not safe area. If you have a tableView and use ios11 add tableV.contentInsetAdjustmentBehavior = .never last try in iPhone 7 iOS 13.1 and work sory my bad english, like my comment, if help you 😁
